We're currently running Windows Mail, but now we want to install Outlook 2007. We don’t have an older copy of Outlook.
Upon installation, I received the following error:
Microsoft Office Outlook 2007 encountered an error during setup.
There was no error code. Also, the installer is from a freshly bought copy of Office 2007 and subsequently Outlook 2007. Previously, I read about threads that suggested an older copy of Outlook, but I don't have one. My operating system is Vista.
I have no idea about this. Suggestions will be accepted cordially. Thanks a lot.

When I try to install Microsoft Office Outlook 2007 in my PC, it works properly half way then I get the following message:
- "Microsoft Office Outlook 2007 encountered an error during setup. Error 1309. Error reading from file:D:PA561401.CAB. Verify that the file exists and that you can access it."
I don’t have any idea about it. How can I install it?
Please give me a solution.
Thanks.

I am facing an "error 1308" during trying to install BCM – Business Contact Manager 2007.
We work with a hosted exchange along with Apptix. They provide Outlook 2007 that is also licensed for BCM, but installation files are not provided. I made a copy of BCM 2007 and I have failed to install it and the log files are following:
MSI (s) (1C:74) [08:22:44:519]: Product: Business Contact Manager for Outlook 2007 — Error 1308. Source file not found:
D:BCMGlobalAssemblyCacheMicrosoft.BusinessSolutions.eCRM.ISVDeployment.MAPIProperties.dll. Verify that the file exists and that you can access it.

I’m trying to send an email message with Outlook 2010 but the error below is appearing.
I am running Windows 7 64-bit PC and MS-Office 2010. I checked on the registry settings, but it didn’t fix the issue.
And also, the same error appears when trying to send emails to third-party programs.
How can I fix this?

Either there is no default mail client or the current mail client cannot fulfill the messaging request. Please run Microsoft Outlook and set it as the default mail client.

Hello. I’ve been using WinPST Share Outlook program for quite some time. And I received an error when trying to grant access rights to the client.
The error says “You do not have permission to set access rights for your folders, or the folder has been deleted on the server.” I am under an administrative account so I am kind of puzzled why this error appears.
I cannot grant access to the client’s shared folder. What could be the best way to solve this dilemma?

Is it really possible for someone else apart from the organizer of that event, to access and view all responses to a certain Outlook calendar event you forwarded?
The reason I am asking this is because I have forwarded a certain event to a number of people and I am really anxious to know their responses and comments.
Does anyone have an opinion on this?
