MS Outlook
Hello there! My computer is running on Windows 7 64-bit version and I am using Microsoft Outlook 2010 32-bit version. I had this problem with Outlook when it suddenly stopped working. I clicked on the icon to start it and it starts normally although its window does not display. Instead, I see an icon on the toolbar that allows me to perform all other tasks such as email, apps, when I right-click it. I’m not receiving any error messages at all and I was able to start it while the computer is on Safe Mode. I have tried resetnavpane, uninstalling and reinstalling, and regedit to delete the profiles as seen in other posts but none of them worked for me. Do you guys have an idea how I could fix this? If so, I would appreciate your reply. Thank you.

Hi! I need to transfer Microsoft Outlook files from my desktop computer to my laptop; it’s just that I am not quite sure how to do it.
My MS Outlook is the 2003 version while my laptop is running the 2007 version.
Can you tell me the necessary steps I need to do when I transfer my MS Outlook files to my laptop?
And if it isn’t too much, can you include information on removing the current MS Outlook files on the laptop.
I am looking forward to your reply.
Thank you very much.

My computer has lost “track changes” which I use to edit mails in Outlook 2010 Beta just as in Word 2010 Beta. Could it have been removed and is there is anything else that I can do about it?

I selected some Offline folders which caused Outlook to change to non-unicode mode rendering some items to show “?” characters which are now hard and impossible to read. What could be the problem and what specific easy-to-understand steps should I do? Thanks.

I would like to inquire whether there are any other features which I can add to outlook to allow reminders get more alternatives. The snooze isn’t just adequate and its appearance cannot be changed or made impossible. Most people, including me would not prefer being queried though being reminded for events like pending meetings is just alright.

I have a computer which is running on Windows 7 and I have set up Windows Live mail which for now is functioning well. Microsoft Outlook 2010 on the other hand has been giving me a lot of problems and I have been unable to configure it.
I am now wondering if Microsoft Outlook 2003 can work with Windows Live Mail installed on the same PC. Can someone please shed some light on this issue?

I have a number of problems with my Microsoft Outlook 2003 that I hope someone will help me solve. I tend to think that these problems are due to a power blackout that occurred yesterday. I use Windows 7 and I may have lost my entire address book because since then Outlook fails to access the data in the contacts folder yet all the data in this folder appears to be intact. Something else bothering me is that although all the relevant folders are present the Rules in Outlook are not functional anymore

My inbox is currently giving me a lot of headaches. I am looking for a way to configure it such that the messages in my inbox are no longer threaded.
One thing that I don’t like is that group messages from the same person is turned into a thread which can be viewed by clicking on a disclosure triangle which is located by the first message in that conversation.
I would be happy to know of some way to deactivate this threading feature.
