Dear Experts,
I randomly got this error message when I opened a PowerPoint file in my Mac.
Microsoft PowerPoint cannot open the file. You may need to download the latest updates for Office for Mac. Do you want to visit the Microsoft Web site for more information?
I then updated my Office as the message suggested. I opened the same file again but I still got the same error message. Didn’t know what to do next after trying the suggested solution. Please help me on what to do next. Need to edit the file badly for my task at work.
Regards.

Hi,
I recently upgraded MS Office to a newer version in my Mac PC.
I tried opening a presentation, but then I got this error message.
Error:
PowerPoint cannot open the file /User /geeteshbajaj/Desktop/Themetest/New Theme Edited.thmx.
The file may be damaged, or it may have been created in a pre-release version of Power Point.
I then searched for the file that was indicated in the error message, but couldn’t find it. I planned to rename or delete the file so I could get rid of the error message.
Any advice where to look for the file?

I want to use MS PowerPoint for my speech presentation in my laptop. How will I set it up in advance? I need to set it up in the preliminary hall and load the presentations, however the computer is too slow! I need to make the screen big as well.
If it is possible, is it safe if someone helps to set it up?

My computer is set up and runs with Microsoft Office 2010. The PowerPoint is sluggish especially when I am typing and this is because the device I use is the normal type which causes the delay when I am typing. However, it functions normally and without any problems when I adjust the destination output under compress image with screen pixel density of 150.
I am seeking guidance on the way to prompt the alterations from the registry editor or group policy as the alterations must be made so that it is applied with all the staff in our firm.
I would appreciate your help.
