We have started having a problem when we try to copy the MS Excel 2010 cell data (ex UPSA11014) to our MS Project 2010 in a cell. What happens during the cell copy  form Excel to MS Project 2007 is that the we can only get (ex.UPSA1101) to appear. The Last digit is dropped.

This process used to always work for us and the only quick solution to resolve this is to copy the Excel data value to notepad and then notepad to MS Project 2007.

Has anyone encountered this issue before or know how I can resolve this?

I have a project I created in MS Project 2007 that is linked in a resource pool. I was able to successfully connect the plan and save the resource pool but the problem is, I can no longer save the project and I get this error:

error saving shared resource pool

What can be causing this error and how can I fix it?

I just want to ask, what computer hardware and software requirement needed to operate Microsoft Project Server? Is there any specification? Please clarify me. Thanks! 

 I click on the Resource Sheet view and notice that one of the resource names appears in Red.  What does this mean?

I have 3 resources assigned to a task. It takes 30 hours total to complete the task.

Say one resource works for $10/hr, another $20/hr, and third $15/hr.

The cost should be $450 since everyone works 10 hours each on this task.

But MS Project is calculating a totally different cost.

How comes I receive an error message stating that “The project item cannot be copied” when I try copying the macros that I drafted myself to a certain document that I am editing?

By clicking Normal area “New macros name” then clicking “”Copy”.

I am wondering if this is due to the fact that on clicking the organizer button I only have the option of copying these macros from the “Normal” area as the “All” area option is missing.

I have been unable to figure out this problem so please help.

Hello Guys! I hope someone can assist me to solve this simple problem for those experts here. Please help me about this error. I installed Office Enterprise 2007 to my computer. All office programs throw an error when I am trying to run it. Some post suggest that I need to remove Anti virus to my computer, so I removed.

But the error still there and I don’t know why. I also tried to re-install the program but still get this error.

What can I do guys? Please tell me.
