Microsoft paint publisher encountered some problem. When trying to launch or open Microsoft paint publisher there is a problem occurred regarding the version. I think it needs to be updated for some reason about security and proper usage. I am using Windows Xp Os. Is this has to do with the compatibility issues? How can I fix this problem?

I have a file in a .jpg format and need to convert it into .pub file format. How can I change jpg to publisher format? I am using Microsoft Publisher 2007. My OS is windows vista. I want help from you to make mirror page numbering. I want to have page numbers at left margin on even-numbered pages and at right margin on odd-number pages. Is that possible in Publisher 2007?
