I am asking for some advice on what are the best video converter application, because I have a bad experience with WinAVI, every time I will convert a video I will received an error message, that is why I decided to change it.

I have a netbook from eMachines, eM350. I'm using my netbook to download and play videos. I would go to YouTube to look for videos and download them. After downloading, some files are in mp4 format and some flv. Now, I use vlc to play those videos but  at some mp4 file vlc starts to lag, the sounds are still playing but there is no video. What is really wrong with this? Is it vlc? if so, what other player can you suggest.

I am sharing here my bad experience in using Homestyler, I am using this software just lately, when I am about to get some updates on their server I received an error about certificate problem.

Homestyler- dragonfly.autodes.com:443 uses an invalid security certificate. This could be a problem with the servers configuration or it could mean someone trying to impersonate the server. If you have connected to this server successfully in the past, the error may be temporary and you can try again.

When i watch a movie  With KM player in my computer  it plays all kinds of video and audio format.But problem is if i click on forward button of the player or use right arrow key for going forward of that movie then the player automatically hang up.Then i have to press ctrl+alt+del button for go to task manager for ending the program.For resolve the problem i installed different version of KM player software but the problem remain in all versions.Anybody here to help me in this case?

I am using a Samsung WriteMaster SH-W162Z and Nero 9 for burning files in to DVD.

These past few days it gives me an error at the end of burning process saying “Burn process failed”

As a result, of course the Disc is corrupted and I need to burn the files again. I already used DVD lens cleaner to clean the lens of my DVD-ROM and checked the disc if scratched/damaged before using it.

What should be the best solution for this?
