I have a problem with visibility of Active Directory users in Spice Works. My domain controller is already connected and I want to scan the users to show them as available, I can utilize the Help Desk features. Any Ideas?

Can anyone give me the pros and cons of splunk vs cisco mars?  Our business uses cisco mars but it is limited, thus I am not a big fan of it.  I would like to know whether using splunk would be better for log review. 

I am using Adobe Bridge CS5. The images in the last row on the right side of the frame are cut off.

I have tried expanding the frame and also tried changing the thumbnail size but nothing worked.

Can anyone explain why a multithreaded program with one to one mapping between user level and kernel level thread performs faster than a single threaded multiprocessor machine? Is it because it allows blocking one or more system calls and enabling the smooth running of other threads? Please elaborate.

I have a Netgear WNDR3700 with an IP address configured as Static. I want to know if there software that I can use to access my computers in the house just in case I want to get a file and also just in case I need to help my family to fix some issues in the computer?

I already tried it from the house to the office but I can’t get it to work the other way around.

I need software that is compatible with managed service provider? If so, I would like to have one that meets the following specifications:

– Central management system; to allow for management of backup agents for multiple networks without using servers at each location or static Internet Protocol (IP) / virtual private network (VPN) / Dynamic  Domain Name System (DynDNS) or any other 3rd party software. It is very imperative that every agent will be pointed at the centralized managed computer.
