Network Management
Recently I bought a new Acer Aspire laptop which is running on XP operating system. Everything is fine except the WiFi connection. The operating system couldn’t identify the wireless connection. Eventually it gets connection when I start the machine. But drops after sometime and when I try to connect there are a pop up message appears saying that more then one wireless connections are available and I have to connect with my router manually. But the link was ok with my previous Acer laptop.
I am not a technical person and have no clear idea on this issue. So I need help from a networking expert.

I am trying to run ipconfig command in XP operating system but only getting an error message “The request is not supported. Please contact Microsoft support services for further help. Additional information: Unable to query routing information.” I have done the same thing many times before.
I was looking for registry error, but no registry error was found. I have searched on different windows forum and also asked my friends to sort out this problem but so far all of them disappoint me. One of my friends told me to check up the firewall setting but I found it perfect. Does anybody have any idea what was happened? What to do to resolve the issue?

I am working in a corporate office and using a shared network. Currently I am struggling to sort out the IP conflict error in my desktop PC. Everyday there is a windows error message shows up in the system tray and it happens several times in a day and vanishes automatically.

One of my friends is working in a multinational company as a system engineer and very often he call me to solve different networking and server related problem because I am an IT professional too. Yesterday he called me as usual to get my help and the summary of the problem is that network connecting drops several times in each day.
In his office more then 15 computers are connected through a switch. The service only resume after restarting the switch. He already tried to fix the problem by replacing a brand new switch but it still exists. I have never seen these types of networking problem that’s why I came here for the solution.
Hope to see a reply on this thread very soon.

I was just deleting a record and get this error within Microsoft Dynamics CRM 4.0. I have rights to delete a record and have been deleting for weeks. I was so surprised when I got this error for the first time.
An error has occurred.
Try this action again. if the problem continues, check the Microsoft
Dynamics CRM Community for solutions or contact your
organization's Microsoft Dynamics CRM Administrator. Finally, you
can contact Microsoft support.

I am working in a small office and using a printer shared by 7 users. I have been using this shared service for over three months but never seen this type of problem. But I can’t find the network printer on my printer list.
I have by uninstalling the printer driver and then reinstall it again. Eventually I found the printer but after printing command I am getting the message “Access is Denied”. Every other users on the network having no problem except me. I have also checked the connection with server PC and everything is ok. What’s wrong with my pc?

Hello
Just wondering if you guys can help me with my curiosity.
In my previous work, I have a friend who can monitor network and internet connection and in fact he could tell me in details where the users usually browse internet to and he can even assign bandwidth to each user, and he can even make the speed for certain user very slow.
I was very curious on how that works and asked him about it several times, but he always gave me vague an answer, and I understand that probably he feels reluctant sharing his knowledge.
I know he's using some kind of the bandwidth limiter software since we don't have CISCO hardware or any bandwidth management hardware in previous work.
