I am using the latest patches for my Windows XP.

While connecting to a Windows 2003 SP1 server, I am getting the error message:

The client could not establish a connection to the remote computer.

The most likely causes for this error are:

I need to create a Virtual Private Network Connection from my laptop.Is it possible to create a VPN connection like that.If possible,kindly explain the method to create a VPN connection from one system to another system, so that data can be transmitted using that network.

How can I get my WiFi connection protected and the characters not shown when SHOW CHARACTERS in the laptops are checked??

I have a WiFi connection here, in our house and I don't want any other person to know my password. I once entered the key to my sister's notebook and a day later I was surprised when a bunch of her friends stayed in our house enjoying the FREE WiFi connection.  I checked on her notebook and found out that when you put check on SHOW CHARACTERS, it really shows the password for my wireless connection. I want to hide the characters.

Help anyone?

I usually have this error disturbing me, while I am surfing the Internet. Actually I have my office with 10 computers linked through a network.

The error message appears near the clock, says, "you have an IP conflict with another computer."

How to solve this problem and what will be the consequences if I left it unsolved?

I made a new website and I recently added  my Adsense account there. I just noticed a weird activity where in, my clicks are very high compared to its impression. I'm suspecting that someone is doing click bombing and wants my Adsense to be banned. I don't know how to play this game so I removed my Adsense in that site to prevent that click bomber from clicking multiple ads.

Are there any ways to block a specific IP address to prevent click bombing and the likes? 

I want to block Facebook during working hours.

The main problem is I don't have a central server.

All the computers are connected in one homegroup and there is also a wireless connection for some laptop users.

So how can I block Facebook in my network?

My older brother is a security freak.

He changes our WiFi password daily to the point no one knows the password anymore not even him.

Can anyone help us on how to change or reset the WiFi password?

Step by step instructions would be helpful.

The server 192.168.1.1:80 requires a username and password. 

The server says: Prestige 660HW-61,

In my Internet connection I am using a hub.  It has total 5 ports.

1port is for downlink and other 4 for downlink but downlink port turned off yesterday because of a thunder storm.  Other 4 ports are working and showing the light.

So is there anyway can I can use one port  for downlink port from those 4 ports?

I  have a problem with my Windows 7 Ultimate.  Whenever, I am trying to connect to other computers, I always get a prompt to enter the network credentials even after entering the right username and password, it seems not to be accepting.

Is there a way to skip this authentication process?

I just bought an iPad and I tried to connect it to my router to get online with no luck. So I went to my friend who has the same router and got my iPad connected to the Internet. He told me to change or lower down the security level of my network.
