This is a problem, I have MaxData 4000A notebook with integrated wireless card.

When I want to connect to desktop PC with wireless password and when I enter that password, I get this error:

"The network password needs to be 40bits or 104bits depending on your configuration.

This can be entered as 5 or 13 or 10 ASCC characters or 26 hexadecimal characters.

Many people who take their notebook from home to the office may fall into a problem of having a dynamic IP address at home and static at the office. So is there any way to have both settings in your configuration when you do not change them each time you change your location?

I have a WiFi modem router. I usually leave them on at night when I sleep so that I won't need to turn it on again when I need to access the Internet in the morning when I'm still drowsy on my bed.

Will my router's life shorten or will it break if I don't turn it off. How should I maintain my device?

I saw this tab in the task manager called Networking and I'm just wondering what does Network Utilization mean. What if I have a 100Mbps link speed and a 5% network utilization, does it mean that my speed is 5Mbps?

How can I have 100% utilization? Does it affect my Internet connection?

I have two computers in my room. The operating system of one is windows XP and another is windows 7. I want to make a homegroup connection between them. But in Windows 7 when I want to setup a homegroup, it tells, "Share with other home computers running Windows 7 ".   In the image it is marked by a red rectangle.

How can I establish a homegroup connection between two PCs, one using Windows XP and another using Windows 7.

The main office at Margie’s Travel has two wireless networks. Employees can typically move between one area of the office to another without losing connectivity. However, one employee complains of poor service when she is seated at her desk, though she has no problem if she moves to another part of the building.

How do you solve this problem?
