I am using Dial up Bluetooth connection to connect to Internet, yesterday I have installed pirated software downloaded from Internet and today when I try to connect to Internet, I am having trouble in Bluetooth dial up connection.

I got following error message while connecting.

Error 633: The modem (or other connecting device) is already in use or is not configured properly.

I am using Windows 7 and I have some issues while sharing files over LAN. 

Problem description:

I have shared a specific folder over LAN and I want to give permissions to specific people.

for example.

User1 can read and write to that file.

User2 Can only read that file.

How can I do that, can anyone help me regarding this problem?

Why does the Operating system crash when it is not over used? It has happened when the O.S was changed from Vista to Windows 7.

After 1 month the OS crashed and every time I turn on the PC it will restart.

I am migrating my workstations to my new domain. All computer names and user’s accounts have been setup in my active directory. After I re-install the workstations I can log in using administrator account. So I installed all necessary software applications and it was successfully installed. So to check if there are no problems with the users accounts, I logged off the administrator account. But when I log in to users account, it won’t log in.

The message said that, “the user name cannot be found. Make sure the Domain and User Name is correct. Check also the password if it is correct". I cannot give a screen shot due as the error is outside the Windows.

What seems to be the problem?

I have Windows Vista operating system in my laptop. While trying to copy files from another computer on the same LAN network,  the file transfer is too slow but while others copy files from my PC the speed is very fast.

Moreover,my PC is not slow and virus free too.

My playmate came over the house for some biscuit treats made by my mom.

She brought with her sister's old laptop for us to play online games.

We tried to set it up to connect to our wireless network. 

My partner in a community project came over the house and brought over his laptop, so we could do research projects together. He told me that my wireless network was unsecured and advised me to do with Mac Filtering. 

Dad had relocated our WRT300N router at the attic since he moved to a room in the 2nd storey of our home.  Since then, I've been having wireless connection issues on my laptop, which made research very slow.  What's worst, I am losing the Internet connection from time to time!  How can I extend the signal of the router?  Are there factors I need to consider?

We have the WRT54Gv2 which we had for about 5 years now. It had been working marvelously when it comes to Internet stability. Two days ago, our wireless signal was not that stable and my mobile phone could not connect from my room at home. I checked the router only to find out that one antenna was broken.
