I have a Ms Exchange Server 2003, and it is showing an error in the database schema.
Exchange Server has crashed due to what reason, is what really surprises me. I am not able to make it up and leave.
I have a backup of last week but not yesterday. If I install a fresh server from the beginning,
I have to do all the exercise and only install last weeks mails which I really don't want to do.
How to recover crashed database of Ms Exchange Server 2003 ?

Dear all,
I have a simple Server 2008 R2 which runs AD and works as a file server, for simply sharing data. The server is running WSUS for pulling update.
I need to install a good Antivirus on this server, which is capable to collect virus database update and then push them effectively to the virus client, which will be installed on 10 workstations, running Windows 7.
The Antivirus product, must offer a simple access to verify if client computer are safely updated. I have checked for ForeFront but there are different things and tools around. So no idea which package to take.
I welcome other products similar as ForeFront.
The solution should not be too expensive for the final customer.
Thanks.

Hi,
I've been a Windows guy for so many years and have only made the switch to OS X last year. What was I doing with Microsoft all those years?!?! Anyway, there is one thing, albeit a small thing, that I miss in Windows XP. With XP, as well as OS X, you can search which wireless networks you want to join, before you join them.
XP, however, gives you that tiny little bit more information about each network, more specifically as to which networks are open and which are password protected.

Hi Guys,
I've a new small biz client, who wants to create a new website that he or his staff can update, edit, and change as they wish.
My client does not have a graphics or HTML background, so I want to stay away from anything that is too techy and time intensive to learn.
I think a CMS would work well for him, but I don't know which one of the seemingly hundreds would be best. He needs easy photo inserting and editing, WYSIWYG, RSS, some widget capabilities, a blog page, and easy copy placement as well as easy formatting.
Can anyone recommend a appropriate program?
By the way, it needs to either free or low cost. Oh, and he'll host his own site
Thanks.

Hi guys,
We currently have one computer, a P1.6 w/512 Megs RAM. I just bought a new computer that I plan on using, for gaming that is a DUO CORE 2.6 w/2G RAM.
I want to put the old computer in my brother;s office and my computer in my office and have them both hooked up to the internet. I have cable internet and it is in my office. I bought a wireless router, with my new computer but I am not sure what i need to do with my brother's computer.
What do I need to be able to get him online? Does it have to be a PCI card or can I buy a USB PLUG in wireless adapter ?
Also, this says it is USB 2.0, the computer he will be using has USB 1.0, since it is an old computer.

Hello Greetings,
I have been using OpenWRT for some time primarily for research, in the University. I've also started with some basic network programming (sending UDP packets for instance). But since most of the available tutorials on Unix network programming are more related to Ethernet programming, I'm not sure if using it, for wireless interfaces would be the same.
I would like to know if there's any difference between Ethernet and wireless raw socket programming. I would also like to do some raw packets sniffing on a wireless interface "eth1". What structures should I use, in order to read the prism headers, in monitor mode?
Has anyone done some wireless network programming/scripting?
Regards,

Users are having trouble connecting to Internet hosts. I suspect there is a problem with the Domain Name System (DNS) server and want to verify this. What troubleshooting step can I take to determine whether the DNS server is resolving Internet host names?
Some of the potential solutions are given below.
