Hi and thanks for these websites. It is really of great help.
I have a question about modem sharing. I have two computers running on Windows XP Professional SP3. I want to share the broadband modem so that when I am using or someone else is using the other computer, we don't have to unplug that modem.
I have tried to configure, but I think I am not putting everything in place. I want someone who understands these, to please explain to me step by step procedure of sharing the modem. Don't leave anything please, it could be a mistake that I am making. I will be very grateful.
Thank you.

Recently I bought a new computer. I didn't get enough time to operate my PC. I went abroad for business purpose and when I returned home and turned on my PC to work on the internet, my PC cannot find the network path successfully.
It shows an error, "Windows cannot access error code: 0x80070035 the network path not found".
I am sure that I connected Netgear WG311T PCI wireless adapter to my PC. Its a Vista operating system, that I am using now. I use Norton 360 Antivirus .
I am not familiar with this problem. I think it is a major error and have no idea about what to do.
Need your help.

Hi,
I am running Windows Vista Ultimate. I recently bought a new Windows Vista software and I am unable to view computers on my wireless network. It’s just showing workgroup machine, in cmd box.
They are on the same workgroup. From the command prompt I type, "Net view" and enter and it returns an error, "System error 6118 has occurred" after two minutes.

Hi,
ATM (Asynchronous Transfer Mode) is a network technology, which is based on transferring the data in cell or packets of a fixed size.
Can you tell me if the cell used with ATM, is small or large and why ?
Is there any difference between ATM and TCP/IP ? If yes, list out the difference.

I was trying to reset my PSN account password on my PS3. When I typed in my account details, an error came up saying, “your password is no longer valid”. Then I hit ok; then another message comes up saying, “server error has occurred”.

One of our sub network in the office has lost connection. The network icon on the system tray says, "Limited or No Connectivity".
I attempted to solve the problem, by checking all the cables in the switch where the problem occurs and the switch seems to be working fine. It took me almost two hours to figure it out, but it seems not to be working.
The switch is 8 port fast Ethernet. All the computers in that network are using Windows XP as operating system.
Anyone have an idea what the problem is?

I am an end user of computer, and I have this problem.
I would like to connect/link my friend's computer with mine, since we are all connected to the internet. I would like to retrieve some information he shared and told me that I can still access it, without necessarily going to his place.
What should I do to access the information? I am using Windows XP.
