Networking

Networking

I am using one Windows 2007 server for the clients company.  Last week till today morning, I put on the server and many users were accessing the server.  Suddenly today, when I tried to open the server remotely, it’s showing, "network path not found”.

I got shocked to see the error, is there anyone help me in solving the issue?

Good Day fellows,

Today I am here to discuss a problem of mine.

I have been using VPN service for a long time, but for the last two days I am not getting connected to this service.

Whenever I try to connect to this service, it gives the same error as shown in the figure.

Cyber Ghost VPN could not be repaired. Reinstall Cyber Ghost VPN.

I tried to configure the ISP restrictions ,but got no success.

I thought that it may be due to an old version of VPN Server. So I just updated it today and replaced with a latest version, but got no changes to the error.

Hi,

We have a shared folder in our network, wherein we store files for quick reference and updating.

I recently installed Norton Antivirus on my laptop that is running on Windows 7.  After installation, for reasons that I cannot comprehend, all sharing settings were removed.  It took me a while before I was able to share and connect to the printer, but as for the shared folder, it is still not accessible.

I checked all the settings and permissions and as per my judgment, all is well.  Firewall is also not an issue in this case because I already checked it.  If the printer is able to be shared, why am I having problem connecting to the folder?

Thanks.

Hi friends,

I have a friend who plans to hire a Virtual Assistant. She wants to share her business related data and the accounting software that she uses, with the perspective employee. But she doesn’t want to do it over the internet, where the security of her data is at risk.

Aside from Team viewer, another friend suggested the use of VPN or virtual private network, but we do not have any idea about how to establish and how to use VPN.

Can somebody give basic information about this?  We will highly appreciate any help that you may extend to us.

Thanks.

For unknown reasons, I can’t connect to the wireless internet.  As a resort, I am temporarily using a cable to connect.  My computer detects the network and I see that the signal strength is good.  I tried to connect but connection always fails.  I already tried re-starting my netbook.  I try to connect, failed, tried again but still failed.

Other computers that are connected on the network have no problem with their connections.  Are there settings that I must configure, to solve this problem?

I am using a Dell Netbook Inspiron 1018 with Windows 7, starter’s edition.

Please help.

Thanks.

Hey there Guys,

I am really into a major problem.

My office laptop is running on Windows Vista. I think it is important that you should know that.

My problem is, I have deleted one of the files in our shared folder. That one is really important and I need to get it back. Of course, I cannot see it in my recycle bin.

I can just report it to our IT people, but personally, I would like to know what should resolve it.

Thanks!

How can I share my USB Modem Internet Connection to WiFi?

I have a Wireless-G Broadband Router and one laptop. I want to share my USB Modem Internet Connection to my laptop via WiFi. How can I do that?

By the way, my router has been already configured and everything was set because I had a broadband internet connection before. The only problem is how my desktop computer can share, my internet connection to the router, so that the internet connection will be broadcast by the router via WiFi.

Please give me solutions.

Windows XP to Windows 7 sharing Log-In Denied.

Hi,

I have this problem when connecting to Windows 7, shared resources. Every time I am connecting to Windows 7 shared resource, my computer prompts me for user name and password, to access the shared resources. Then I supply the user name and password, that has the access on the shared computer.

But today, I cannot log-in anymore. I never changed any settings on my Windows 7 computer. How should I solve this?

Thank you!

Hi,

I was browsing my Facebook when I saw a link of a funny video and I clicked it. My page went blank and displayed the message, "HTTP Error 403.6". I closed Internet Explorer, refreshed my page and tried to access my Facebook again. Sadly, I cannot log-in anymore.

Facebook page doesn't load anymore. I tried to research about this problem and I saw this one note saying:

"HTTP Error 403.6" Error Message Occurs When You Try to Access Web Sites Beyond Proxy Server

What exactly does this mean, I have no idea.

Thanks.
