Networking
Hello! My task is to design a network in a workplace. The company using CISCO Router for my routers, 25 work stations and 3 CISCO Switch. I'm a little bit confuse about routing protocols. I can't decide which protocols I will be using by configuring networks. Maybe you guys give me advice whether i will be using EIGRP or OSPF protocols. Which of the two is the best protocol to secure my network? So that when someone tries to access my network illegally, they could not be able to connect or even access the server.
Help me to decide which of the two is the best!
Thank You looking forward to your answers

I am having trouble with my FTP. Today, there was a technician who instructed me to do some upgrading on the router. He came without my knowledge and changed everything. Since then I am having a hectic time, trying to configure my computer to the network.

You have a broadband internet connection, and I am using this internet connection through the broadband, to do the following access email and the web from your own PC.
The kids are getting bigger and are starting to use laptops, due to their increased need to use social networks and do some homework. So now we all want to use the web at the same time. I want about 5 computers to share the net at the same time.
I also use the laptop connected with the broadband.
The question is, how can all those computers be made to share the internet link?
I have tried networking the computers using LAN i. e I created some network, but I have not been able to share the internet connection.

Hey Everyone,
I was wondering if you can help me with a problem. My office is using a PBX phone system from Panasonic and although it's working just fine, my boss thinks that it's not exactly suitable for the office anymore. We're looking for alternatives, for a new PBX system; when one of my colleagues mentioned about IP Phones from Cisco. The problem is, I have never used an IP Phones before. So I kind of lost on the system.

Hello,
I have a Dell laptop ( Dell Latitude E4310 ) installed with Windows 7 Professional 32 bit and have 4 GB RAM and 320 GB HDD. The laptop is actually used by another person for daily activities, while I use a desktop for work. I have created a Windows Server ( Windows Server 2003 ) for Active Directory and joined both desktop and laptop to the domain.

I am working as an assistant Engineer, system support department in a company.
Sometimes, I guess that someone’s accessing my desktop remotely via third-party software. It seems to me that the person is my boss. But I want to monitor or see the date and time, when he accesses my desktop? I also want an alert when he enters my desktop?
Is there any software that can give me a log file, of anyone gaining access my desktop remotely? And give me an alert, when someone is attempting to access my desktop? Or some tips that help me to do that. It is our company policy, that I can’t turn on my Windows firewall or any others firewall.
My Computer O/S is Windows Server 2003 and Windows 7.

Hello everyone,
Can anyone help ?
I can say I am very upset with Miranda in the last few weeks. The problem commences, whenever I launch Miranda. The ICQ protocol just backfires ; it keeps connecting forever and sometimes it does not connect at all.
I have tried to research and this is all I have got.
– Give it “offline “status manually
-Wait for the error the error message to appear
-Click on the online status once it is connected.
