Oracle Database
Hi folks,
I was installing Oracle9i Application Server when suddenly got a problem. The pre-installation task were okay the setting of environment variable. I got at least 1GB of swap configured before I run the installer, I have a fully qualified domain name(FQDN) specified for the installation and I got no problem with that . But while I am installing the infrastructure, there are several errors occurred and some of them were said to be an expected behavior and fixed that already. The only thing that I haven't configured yet is the error saying:
Oracle Database configuration Assistant: ERROR

Hi,
I am going to install the oracle 10gR2 and got a problem. I have checked the hardware requirements and kernel requirements, installed required packages. I have set also the kernel parameters, created oracle user and groups. I also created the required directories for oracle base and change the ownership. I have set the session limits for oracle user. I have configured the oracle user’s environment, invoked OUI and during the installation OUI gives a warning that oracle database 10g is not certified on the current operating system and I still proceed to continue, OUI gives a dialog box with a warning,
“some recommended prerequisite checks have failed. You might get errors during installation. Do you want to proceed?”

Hello folks,
I am installing Oracle Database 11G release 2 on my system from drive D: there is an error while in the process of installation. This error keeps on going on even if I keep on repeating the process from the start, and both time and effort is wasted.
My wild idea on this problem is focused on the image file I created would have some error reading, when the installation process attempts to extract the file it can't read the file or whether the installer ran out of space, I am not sure of my wild guesses.
Please somebody help me qualify my wild ideas in solving this error message.
I am showing below the description of the error I encountered.

Hi guys,
I am working on my oracle server and what caught my attention is this error message as follow:
This started when I added an additional user. Before I add a user, everything seems to be doing great. I did not remember adding user limits in the configuration file, that will ban user addition. I already checked on the services, all are up and running. I rebooted the system on the apprehension that there might be some error loading or some glitch, but when I started again, the problem still exists.
Please somebody who has an idea on oracle help me solve this system issue. Your suggestion is highly appreciated and welcome.

Hi there all Oracle gurus,
I was facing a little problem while I was installing ODBC driver for Oracle 5.0. To rectify it, I tried different versions of ODBC drivers. I downloaded it from various sites some from Oracle pages, but none of them proceeded further than this error.
I couldn’t do any other search regarding this error because it is an unspecified error and I am not able to work out why this occurred. I was thinking that what would I post to ask someone to sort out this problem.
