OS Security
My child downloaded a video conversion tool from the internet and with it came other files that were too installed in the computer. I noticed them when I did a PC clean up with an antivirus and deleted all of them (as I thought at the time). However, I now notice some unidentified processes running in the task manager. Whenever I look for them in the programs lists in Windows 8.1, they are not available. Where can I find them? How do I delete them?

I think I clicked on something I had no intention of clicking on in some websites and now it keeps on downloading some random websites that are fake and have suspicious .exe programs. I ran a malware detection tool and I have so far found more than 5 fake programs. Deleting them is of no use since they reappear the moment put on my browser. I do not know why my antivirus does not get rid of these viruses. Will these malware destroy my files? How can I get rid of it?

Initially, I thought autorun.inf was not a virus until recently when my AVG antivirus refused to scan it. I have tried other multiple anti-malware programs and none seems to be working. I have ejected the drive well and none of my files has been affected. Does anyone know more about this autorun.inf file? Can it affect my files when I move them to a USB? If it is not usually a virus, can one disguise itself as an autorun.inf?

Are we going to face the problem of virus in Windows 10? Do we still need to install Anti-virus in Windows 10 and worry about our system? Is Microsoft doing something to remove the problem of Virus from the upcoming version of its OS? Are there anything which the developers are involved in to meet the demand(No Virus) of thousands of users from around the globe?

Hey friends,
I use Avast antivirus for my windows 8.1 and this PC is new just a week old. I got an adware in my PC while downloading a software from unknown source. So what I did is removed that adware and scanned m PC completely to check if any virus is there Avast showed nil results. To double check I uninstalled Avast and the installed Baidu anti virus and it showed that my PC is still infected and when I clicked to remove the threat it won't do anything. So please tell me which anti virus I should trust now and use it
