The Softplan 13.3 and key is installed in the Laptop. My laptop is using Windows 7 as the Operating System. But I constantly get a message asking to install the ‘install key’.

I have followed the instruction but the message is repeating.

I have a computer with Windows 7 and Ubuntu dual booting. After an upgrade of the Ubuntu to the newest version, my cursor just disappeared and cannot be viewed on the desktop when using Ubuntu. This problem is not there when using windows 7. Why does the cursor fail to appear when using Ubuntu. How can I rectify this?

I performed a system restore for a file that I have deleted from the recycle bin.

The file was not restored. 

Are there any instances where the system will not restore a deleted file even if you manually restore it from the recycle bin?

I tried installing the new Windows 8 Dev and my computer hangs after 10 seconds of booting it if the monitor is on. And I have to use the manual restart button to reboot it. It boots perfectly the second time. And there is no booting issue if the monitor is switched off. Any help will be appreciated.

Everything except mysql is working well after updating my server to Ubuntu 10.04. The previous version was 8.04. Since updating, I am not able to access myspl from local network. I have tried a number of options. First is setting the server to ‘’listen to all’’ to sensitize to all IP addresses. Secondly, I have used netstat to find the port it senses. All these seem not work for me. Is there anything that needs to be done that I have missed. Please assist.

My desktop has refused to work. This is because whenever you attempt to start it the screen goes blank and the only thing displayed is a message stating that the operating system could not be found. I have tried to reboot it with a Windows 2003 disk and also tried configuring BIOs but all these efforts were to no avail. This really gets me to frustration. Anyone who has an idea that can help? I shall be really thankful.

My computer is currently running on the new Windows 8 the developer preview as the final version has not been released yet. However, I am experiencing a number of problems with it for instance when closing an application you must open the task manager in order for you to do this. This is really a long process and I am wondering if someone has already found out how to close applications without having to go through the task manager. Is there a shortcut for this? Please let me know.
