I have a recurring Windows update for 3 months. It keeps on saying that an update needs to be installed every time I run WSUS, even though it says that it has been successfully installed. It is an SQL service pack 4 update (KB2463332). I tried rebooting it many times even without any startup programs or non-Windows services. I tried searching for solutions, but those that I found only works for Windows Vista or 7, and not on Server 2008, plus they are meant for web-based updates rather than WSUS. Help!

Please help me with my startup problem. The problem is, when I turn on my computer the screen turns black. It just display MSI or board details, but it does not reach to the Operating System. A black screen will appear with a flashing cursor on the upper left corner of the screen. I already did some troubleshooting on this problem.

I already tried getting into BIOS but unfortunately it didn’t work. I already unplugged some unnecessary external devices but still don't work. I also asked some advices through online questions.

I have been using Ubuntu for a while now. However, I found out that I have an extra Sata port for another driver. So I decided to uninstall Ubuntu and delete its partition. I replaced the whole drive with Windows 7 OS.

When I was about to finish, I restarted my laptop; but while doing this, an error displayed saying, “error: no such partition.”

The problem is, I do not have the installer for Windows 7, and rather what I have are the recovery discs that I had previously made. I would like my laptop to boot Windows 7 and not Ubuntu. Please advice on this.

My computer is protected by the Norton anti-virus and I run several templates for database integration. Recently, I was editing the settings of the security details and when I clicked the properties page on the system protection box, an error occurred.

Help! Something is wrong with my laptop, and I have no idea what to do. It runs very slowly in the last few days, and I've erased major files to free space from the hard disk. Applications also have trouble launching.
