I have a Toshiba laptop, I did install windows seven operating system and later activated it. I am passionate about programming, so I installed the microsoft visual studio compiler version 6.0. Unfortunately it has compatibility issues, in that it does not create objects after compilation, I have tried installing microsoft visual studio 6.0 compiler in different partitions but there are no changes. I now use the command prompt to compile C and C++ console programs but I  would like to create programs with GUI using the compiler. Is there a solution to my problem?

Iam running windows vista starter OS 1.8 ghz processor and iam using RoboForm v7.4.2     
I just clean up my registry today found 35 problems and fix issues using CCleaner. when I open roboform identity editor I get this error, does cleaning registry affect the application and would make an error?    
 

Any ideas why iam getting this error?

I have a laptop and  its OS is Windows XP Home Edition. I changed the OS by the help of the technician.

He changed it to Window XP Professional.

I was trying to use my laptop with the new software, but an update suddenly appeared which says "you may be a victim of software counterfeiting".

So I wanted to change again my OS to the original OS I had.

How do I deal this issue?

I have a basic Asus netbook with Windows XP.

For 1 year I use to play World of Warcraft with no problem.

However, since about one month, it often happens that my netbook turn off instantly in full play, several times a day.

this problem only happens while I play the game, and it is not a heating processor problem I've checked that.

I have no idea where the problem could be and it's pretty annoying so I'd like your help please.

When I turn on my PC, it starts booting and then stop with an error message which is 'Keyboard error or No keyboard Present'. My keyboard is ok when I tried the same keyboard in another PC. So I what's the solution for this?

We tried making a movie thru Windows Movie Maker using the Windows Vista Operating System. It worked well with Windows Vista, however, when we tried it in a computer with the Windows 7 Operating system, it did not play at all. Is there a way to convert it to play the movie using the Windows 7 Operating system?

The space-bar key appears to be permanently stuck down on my laptop.

However, I have completely removed the keyboard and the space-bar is still being pressed. So, it appears to be a software problem. 

I have also reinstalled the keyboard driver but no improvement. 

Any ideas on how to solve this problem would be greatly appreciated?

Can you please help me. I have a single Hard Disk with 2 partitions. My computer has a 2GB RAM and 2.4 clockhertz.

I already installed Windows XP.

But some of the applications are not working properly.

I ask my friend about this and he told me to install different OS. Now I want to install Ubuntu 11.04.

Is there any compatibility issues I might encounter?

Do I have to back up fist my files before installing this OS?

I want to make a dual boot for my laptop which is not a really great laptop though.

So, what I want to know is, since I want to make a Windows 7 and Windows XP OS boot in my laptop, should I increase my RAM size (now it's only 2 GB)? Because I see in the system requirements for 7 is minimum 2 GB RAM and 1 GB for XP. 

And can you tell me what software do I have to use to help me make dual OS boot?
