My computer currently runs on a 64 bit Windows XP which has served me well. I recently decided to install Windows 8 with 32bit. However, when I try to install it, the above error message appears.

Why is that happening?

This installation disk isn’t compatible with your version of Windows. To upgrade, you need the correct installation disk.

For more information, check your computer’s system information. To install a new copy of Windows, restart (boot) your computer using the installation disk, and then select Custom (advanced).

Hi, I have a problem,

My computer is currently configured with Windows XP with an Intel storage controller configured to “RAID” mode in the BIOS which I have been using for a while now. I have decided to install Windows 7 but it keeps bringing the error message below. What could be the problem?

Curiosity takes my attention with these six files on my documents, I’m not familiar with these files, and I don’t even remember creating those files before. So, to clean up this mess I select those files and delete.

At first It asked me If I’m sure to delete this file and I hit yes, but instead of sending these files on bin it says it can’t be deleted because it is used? See.

This action can't be completed because the file is open in system.

I have been recording songs on my DELL laptop for a while now as it helps me play back and review the content. I have been doing that through the "mic input" on my laptop, but now I want to record the songs through my mic using the" line input" on my laptop. However, when I try to do that, it brings this message. Please advise.

Hi, my laptop's OS has been corrupted. It runs in Windows 7. I wonder if restoring OS in Windows 7 is the same with restoring OS in XP?

I was advised to reformat the hard disk but it didn't work.

I have partitioned 15 GB hard disk into two 7.5 GB each. I did this one for Ubuntu and other for free space. But when I start to install, it gives the error message saying " the Ext 3 file system creation in partition #g of IDE 1 master (hda) failed". Here is the error snapshot:

I am facing a weird problem now a day. My system is gradually decreasing in performance due to high disk activity from system process and perform.exe.

Whenever the high disk activity occurs, my RAM usage drops from approximately 1.6GB to just 600MB. I don not know the reason for this error but I am facing this since last about two weeks and could not find any solution yet.

Also this high hard disk activity problem will occur anytime whether I am playing some game, browsing or doing nothing.

I have a Dell system with windows 2000. Last day I was transferring some data from my pc to my laptop and the pc froze. Pressing Alt+Ctrl didn’t work for me and I had to shut my system off by holding down the start button. I start it again but this time windows couldn’t run completely.

It loaded half way and then error message appeared on the screen: “0x000007b inaccessible boot device” appeared. I tried running in safe mode but a blue screen came up again before windows could load completely.

Someone please help me out of this situation.

I am using windows 7 and using Google earth software but its not working and showing an error no connectivity please give me the solution?
