PCs
Hello,
I’m trying to connect the ground to the PC’s power supply. I can’t seem to find where to put it. Should it be on the chip somewhere that I have to connect to? Can anyone give any idea on how to do this?

Hi,
Whatever operation I make on my PC produces a popping sound. This include mouse clicks, typing etc. First thing to suspect was the speakers but no this was not the case. I already verified that it is not about speakers. I am using Windows 7 Ultimate. Any ideas?

Hi,
I bought a PCI WiFi card some days ago and since then my PC performance has been getting worse. My computer lags a lot and it’s very frustrating. I am guessing it’s the PCI causing the problem. If someone has experienced this please tell me why the problem occurred and how to solve it. Thanks.

Hi,
I moved from a PC to Mac. iTunes on the PC is flaky thus can't get home sharing to work. Is there a way to transfer the contents of my iPhone (it has all my music on it) to my Mac by plugin the iPhone into my Mac and copy all music?

Hello everyone,
I am planning to upgrade my Windows 7 PC to Windows 8 so I bought a new case and then transferred all my files thinking that I need to wipe my entire HDD before I can be able to do the preparation to rebuild my computer. My question is, can I wipe my entire HDD and my SSD and then just insert the Windows 8 disk to install it? I have two SSD Raid, 500GB and 1TB 7200RPM. I need your suggestions on doing this process successfully. Thank you.

Recently, I replaced my motherboard, PSU, HDD, CPU and its Video Card. I reset everything and the new specs are:
From Corsair 750, I changed it to Thermaltake 850
From Z77Extreme 4, I replaced it with Z77Extreme 4
From Seagate, I changed it to Kingston 300v
From i5 2500, I upgraded it to i5 3570k
From MSI GTX 670, I changed it to old ATI 4870
My computer normally resets in BIOS than in Windows. I also purchased a new RAM but it always has errors when running a memtest. I tried every slot on my CPU but it failed. I don't know what is the issue as everything is new. Can someone please help me?

My computer used to work just fine. Until I heard the fan spinning very loud. And now it randomly shuts down. I want to know if this is an issue with my Power Supply Unit or my GPU. I tried to reset the CMOS battery and then turned on my computer but it will just do the same thing. Please tell me what to do next and how can I fix it?

I have bought a Asus TV Tuner card.
Before I get my hands on it and probably ruin it, I want TechyV support people to tell me everything about the process of installation and making it work.
I am no expert when it comes to computers but I do know that it must first be placed inside my computer.
So what I need is for you to explain to me step by step how to install Asus TV Tuner card.
Any help would be appreciated.

Hi techyv.com,
Can you guys explain what stress testing is in detail? How does it help? What will one get by stress testing Internet Explorer? And will it cause harm to hardware as it tries to push it to the limits?
Thank You
