How do I play other disk format on my laptop CD – ROM? My laptop disk player is always playing CD and DVD RW+ format while other format is not seen from the drive. The manufacturer manual says the disk player can play all dvd format, but that is not he since I bought the laptop. I initially believe it was caused by the disk player dirty lens, but after repeated cleaning there is no notable difference.

I want to set up a small network of computer for a small office space. I want to use a router to connect wireless devices in the office together but I do not know where to start. What kind of router do I need to buy? How do I configure a router for wireless internet network within a small office space?

 

What are routers and which one is most effective? I recently bought a router but things did not go according to plan when it came to installing and using it? What I want to know is this, when buying a router for use within a small office space which uses Windows Enterprise Server, what do you need to consider before taking the plunge?

 

My Laptop's 'V' key is broken. I am using Apple's MacBook Air. I was Drinking Coffee and suddenly my Glass fell on the keyboard and Coffee was spilled all over. However the keyboard is working fine but the point of impact was on the 'V' key and it is broken. So what to do now. Is there any fix for the issue? Or I have to buy the new Keyboard?

I have Netgear DGN 1000 Wireless Router. It runs 24×7 in our home. Last night here came a Heavy Rain and it was filled with Rain Water. In the morning I checked it out and got to know that its Power Supply is faulty. Placed it in Sunlight for 1 hour and tried to run it again. It started and then Wireless, WPS and DSL ports were working fine but LAN Ports Stopped working. I have 2 PC's in my home that run Internet using LAN Cable. What could be the possible solution?

My laptop has two USB 2.0 and two USB 3.0 ports. The problem is that I never seem to remember how they are distributed.

How can I be sure which are which? Is there a way to differentiate between the two? What happens if I attach a USB 3.0 device in a USB 2.0 port?

I want to buy a new laptop, but most of those I have seen sport USB 3.0 ports.

In what way are they different from USB 2.0 ports?

Will USB 3.0 ports cause compatibility problems with my other devices, such as printers, phone chargers, keyboard and mouse?

Will I have to find new drivers for all of these?

I am having an issue with my old Windows XP media Center 2005. I changed my built-in card and installed a new NVIDIA card. I can open Media Center but the program crashes when I stop the recording or I try to watch live TV. It would be great if you can brief me how to course this.

We are currently looking for a UPS which has an environmental monitoring system for our server room, for us to be able to monitor temperature and vibrations at a minimum and provide us notices should certain thresholds be met. Can you suggest a model or a brand that can do this?

I have an HP Wireless Printer 4500. It is directly connected to my Desktop.
Everytime I try to print its sends an error message "Communication not Available".
It is very frustrating because I already tried solutions like restarting,
configuring my firewall settings, and re-installing. Do you have any suggestions on how this
will work for me?
