I tried accessing a file from a mapped drive however I got this error message, see below.  I used to get files from this drive but suddenly this happened.  I didn’t know if someone had changed the settings. 

Can someone help me undo the settings or resolve the problem?

Hi Gurus!

I have several mapped drives on my PC from other PCs in the office. 

I usually get copies of my colleagues’ files for me to edit.  Then one time I got this error message in the system tray while trying to access the mapped drive. 

I clicked the icon to check the status of the drives and well, it turned out okay.  But then, this error just pops up every time I access the drive. 

Any advice to turn off this annoying error message?

I want  to max out my memory or RAM, I have read forums about dual channel memory, using 2 sticks of the same RAM.  My question is, is there really a big difference between single channel and dual channel memory? Say I have a 2GB RAM, will it be better if I have two 1GB RAM of the same brand?

I would like to troubleshoot my switch port and interface because it was disable and shutdown, the status is inactive as well as the uplink port, I cannot ping the end device, it is also have an intermittent failure to set timer.

What is the proper procedure in order to make my switch port work?

Am not able to establish a connection with the Memeo software to create the back files for my personal folders.  I have installed the Memeo software to create the back plans for my files.  Before completing the installation process, am getting the below error and hence am not able to launch the application successful.  Please help me out.

I am setting up a local area network at our office. I like to know what kind of peripheral do I have to use where I can be sure that I will not suffer from collision problems. I have both switch and a hub, which one is better to use?

I have a DI-LB604 Load Balancing Router, and I use to load balance my two internet connections, the sky and globe broadband. After setting up plugging in two connections at two WAN ports, then distributing connection to another switch then to our workstations, we are experiencing down internet connections. Is there any other setting I used to configure in order for this device to perform properly?

My monitor color display is different from other monitor. My monitor has some violet gradient. What could cause this problem? Recently I cleaned my computers from dusts and disassembled my desktop computer to remove the dust that is inside the CPU and behind the monitor. My monitor is a CRT. If anyone has some answers, please help me with this one. My eyes are distracted and I can't work on my Desktop.

Can someone tell me if I can do anything to make my DVD Rom to be silent when reading discs?

Almost every time I see a movie, for example, I have to turn the speakers real loud in order to cover the noise.

I have to mention that I own a Sony Vaio VPCEH notebook.

If anyone knows how to solve my problem, please tell me.
