I have installed a new Operating System called Redhart on my HP laptop computer and I would like to know if it is possible to connect a smart phone with a Windows OS to my computer? If yes, what steps do I have to follow to connect my Windows Smartphone or synchronize the phone with my laptop knowing they have different Operating System? Thank you.

I have few data that are in the unix executable files I try to open that data but was unable to do that. I tried a few software to open the data and I was unable to that. I need help to open the data. Also can I convert it to its original form or not.

I am wanting to set up my first server but I am limited to only having a older Dell laptop. Is is doable to put Linux Red Hat on and build a dedicated server. Would we need to do anything else to the laptop to keep it from crashing? More RAM or a external HD?

I do not know if this is possible. But I am trying to read MS Outlook Files in Linux and I do not have Microsoft Outlook. Is there some other way of being able to accomplish this? I really would to use something besides a Microsoft program on my system. Any suggestions appreciated.

I have installed the smart red hat on Linux and I've had no problem with it recognizing my integrated audio device while my Win98 does not find any drivers for it. Does anybody no how to solve this problem? Do drivers exist for an integrated sound card?

As drive contains secret information,inspite of formatting hard disk and it may be dangerous in some situations. So I used drive wipe tool for Linux (red hat) to erase all data. But there is a problem with it. I have given command “sudo wipe /dev/partition”and it starts wiping but it is taking so much and never finish the processing. I have checked and limit number of passes but it did not work for me. Please tell me how to fast speed of wiping a hard drive?
