I have two source codes, older and newer version. I can easily find trailing blanks in the older version but was unable to remove them. So please tell me that is there any way to remove trailing blanks in Unix based operating system. If yes how can I do it?

I have been using crontabs for a simple automation of scripts. I was wondering if there were any products out there which would help to manage this in a better manner for redundancy and/or high availability. Perhaps storing the jobs in a database, so the system can be easily recovered if it fails, and having the system query the database for the jobs and timeframes for execution.

Some applications in windows require Directx most of these are computer games. Is there any way to run these applications without using Directx or another alternative that would make them work in Linux based operating systems? If there a way then is there a chance it will affect the application's performance?

In Windows OS, Internet connection can be shared to other LAN or Wireless LAN. I am using Redhat Linux 6 and I have two LAN card in my PC. How can I share Internet connection from one LAN card to another LAN card in Linux? Please, provide me the solution ASAP. This is mandatory for me to share the Internet connection.
