Scanners
When I scan a paper, the background color of the scanned paper, appears to be black.
Some papers scanned do not have this background color.
It is clear and white.
I cannot change that color.
How do I fix it ?

I have a Cannon scanner N640P, every scan of 4 or more than 5, 300dpi my scanner freezes at the middle of scanning. My computer is in good condition I don’t know what happened with my scanner. I need to restart in order to make a successful scan. I have checked the driver which I have got directly from the cannon download centre and performed reinstallation of the driver. Has anyone have suggestions?

Hi, Guys
Will anybody tell me.
What is meant by the "step-rate" of a scanner? How do I tell if my scanner uses dual or triple conversion. What does "SMR" mean in call book lists ? What are birdies ?
I waiting for the valuable response.

HP Scanjet 3400c leaves green lines on the image when scanning.
I have a problem in my HP Scanjet 3400c scanner. Every time I am scanning an image or document it leaves a green line on the scanned image. Sometimes it leaves none.
I wonder why this was happening now ever since I haven’t experience this kind of output. Is it because when I transfer my computer set to my new room I didn’t lock the scanner before transferring?
What should I do now?
Here’s the sample scanned image.

My scanner is good and functioning well but all of a sudden it's debuted. It stopped functioning and displays message "HP CUE'' -Flow Component of scanner has meet an error and needs to be close. I try again to scan by pressing the scan button.
I also go into the HP solution center but still the same error displayed. I check the printer and copier which are good and functioning well. I was puzzled since i have done nothing with this nor downloaded any new software, I don't have idea about the problem. Any one does?

Hi,
I have an HP Scanjet 4370 scanner and it was fine until my sister plugged in her camera to upload pictures in the internet. After detaching the camera from the Vista computer, the setup was back to how it was before. But I could not make my scanner to work.
The physical connections were okay, the scanner is turned on, and no settings were changed. But, why do I keep on getting the error that there is a problem communicating with the scanner?
Thanks.

Hello,
My scanner on the F2280, has been working fine until last week, when it stopped working and a message came up 'HP CUE – scanning Flow Component has encountered a problem and needs to close.'
I have tried scanning, by pressing the scan button on the printer itself and also by going into the HP solution center. Both resulted in the error message. The copier function and printer work fine. I have not loaded any new software or done anything that might have caused the problem – any ideas?
Thank you.
