Hello! I am using Windows 7 Operating System for my computer and I am trying to install AVG 2011 Business Edition antivirus program on it. Everytime I install the program I always get an error message: code 0xE001D027. Previously I had an AVG 9.0 on my computer but I uninstalled it. What seems to be the problem? Thanks!

Hello! I want to update my Norton AntiVirus for Windows on my computer. I am using Windows 7 as an operating system of my computer and everytime I update the said antivirus it gives me this error message: Error Code 80072F8F. What seems to be the problem? This is the first time that I have installed Malwarebytes Anti-Malware.

Right after that, I wanted to check if there were available updates before running my first scan with the new program that I have just installed. While trying to update it, the program obtained an error code 732.

Please provide steps and information to resolve this issue.

I have an Ubuntu 9.10 32 bit Operating System.

I have installed Avast on it but I would get an error whenever I open the application.

"An error occurred in Avast! Engine: Invalid argument"

I have no idea what the error means and I need to know how I can access Avast.

I have McAfee Endpoint Encryption installed on my HP 8460p that has a Windows 7 64 bit Operating System. I use this application to encrypt the hard drive of my new computer. Everything was working fine before, and then an error pops up.

Bios startup on the computer is okay, and then the encryption for HP Protect Tools box appears asking for a username and password. I entered my password and pressed enter to continue but an error pops up saying

Hello Everyone,

I got a software error message “4,[(3,42,0)] when trying to scan using the Solution Centre. There is no problem in scanning the device utility for 1 page at a time. I am using Windows 7 and having good configuration in my system. I have also contacted HP support and uninstalled and reinstalled but still got no positive result. Can someone help me on how can I scan several pages at a time? Any help would be highly appreciated.

Should I stick to using a free anti-virus version or buy a paid version?

I am quite confident with the free version however, I noticed some viruses slip through passing my anti-virus.

Can it  provide more security if I pay for an anti-virus?
