I work remotely and I am being told that my laptop isn't sending back the appropriate anti-virus messages and I need to bring it into the office so it can be checked for viruses and cleaned.  Is it possible that there is something I can do on my end to ensure the anti-virus software is working as intended so I do not have to go into the office to get this done? I believe that my antivirus software is running and slowing down my laptop….or, it could be a virus itself that my laptop antivirus isn't catching.  However, every time I run a scan it comes up clean and I have the latest updates. I just see that there is a lot running. Suggestions on if I should purchase different antivirus software to attempt to clean it further? Thanks.

While checking on the apps that run on startup, I found out that the Windows Command Processor was present between some of the apps. I made a research and found out that it is some sort of a virus or trojan. It is somehow complicated to take it out without harming my computer system. I want to know if someone here knows how to get rid, uninstall or remove it without affecting my system? Thanks.

I love stenography and i am looking for a Linux compatible stenography software that can decrypt almost all stenography encryption algorithms if not all. i have already used stegexpose to detect if an image contains any hidden message – which detects most of them but i still fail to decrypt the hidden contents in the image files.
