Server Software
If I want to setup DFS (Distributed File System) repeatedly on the same three servers on my WAN, is it better with DFS partners with the same domain or with Windows 2003 Server?

I was trying to access a remote server within the office when this error message popped up (see screenshot below).
The remote server has been paused or is in the process of being started
I just used the server I was accessing and wondered why this error happened.
I am just a new System Administrator and needs your expertise here.
Any advice on how to fix the problem?
Thanks in advance.

The user password is set to *None in certain part of SSO to successfully configure EIM and SSO for Client Access in a Development System and the testing is successful. In such a case, if all the user passwords are set to *None, how is it possible for the users to access their non-SSO mapped drives in NetServer?

Some of the computers need to be refreshed so we install Windows XP professional and when we are doing that we wanted to update Microsoft Dynamics GP.
For the first time when I tried to run program I got an error message.
Can someone please help me? I don't want to lose any data.

Hi,
I am experiencing an issue while trying to save an .ics file, from an Exchange Server 2003 that has been sent from an external mail server. There is no problem on receiving these files from the same Exchange Server 2003 but the issue occurs only with mails sent from other servers. While trying to save the .ics file attachments sent from external servers, the file is shown as .msg type Untitled Attachment. However, the sender is able to access the mail through OWA and download as well as save the attachment without any problem. How do I solve this issue on my end?

Hello techyV,
I ran the installation for VMware Server 2 (“VMware-server-2.0.0-116503.exe") on Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 with Windows Vista operating system and got the following error:
VMWare Product Installation
Setup cannot continue. The Microsoft Runtime DLL installer failed to complete installation.
I've tried running the same process as an administrator but I got the same result.
Thank you in advance!

I'm trying to install VMware Server 2.0 on my laptop (Lenovo ThinkPad Edge E420 114155U 14" LED Notebook – Core i3-2310M 2.1GHz with Windows Vista OS installed). I don’t think the problem should be in the Windows Vista cause the VMware Server 2.0 is supposed to run without any problems on Windows XP and Windows Vista. This is the message that I am getting:
