Can anyone please help me with this problem I have got here? My Skype showed that a new update is available and so I tried to update it which failed every time. Then I tried a manual installation by uninstalling my current Skype and still it is not working. The installation continues for about 15 minutes and then it suddenly stops. Looking for a helping hand out there from the experts.

I have a problem with my Skype software.

When I restart my computer and try to open Skype it is showing this error message " Skype has stopped working ".

I try reinstalling it, no use. I have lots of things with my Skype account to do.

So some one please help me.

At Skype we can video call, chat and even send files to others. Now, can this be the best alternative for mobile phones cause in any way its a means of communication as long as there's internet?

Since the newest version of Skype updated on my computer (running Windows Vista) I have only tried to use it a handful of times. I am at the point that I am so frustrated with it though that it's not even worth it. I'm not sure what my previous version of Skype was or even where to find it, but it worked just fine.

Since the update any time that I log into Skype now it will connect just fine (whether I'm already running Firefox or not), once I try to do anything within Skype or within a minute or two just being idle it loses connection. It also kicks me off of my internet connection which is the really weird part. I've checked my network settings and I still have connection, but my browsers will not work.

Hi!

I often get this message: error 1601 every time I try to install Skype on my computer. 

It says my windows installer account could not be accessed. “Contact your support personal to verify that the windows installer service is properly registered”.

How can I get it right with the Skype for windows installer? 

How would I do that?

Sometimes Skype creates problem to use. Voice chat create problem hugely in Asia and to the other country as well.
