My computer issue is all about my Skype. I have a problem log in to my account. Whenever I try to login,, it takes time to respond, after which an error will occur with message that "Cannot focus a disabled or invisible window", I check on skype services, its running since my colleagues is using it.

My problem here is I cannot install a new version of Skype. After downloading the latest version of Skype, I try to install it with my computer.

On my process of installation, Skype stopped installing, this error message box pops up and said, it cannot remove the older version that I installed before.

This process appeared when the installation is on the process of removing the older version.

While I was chatting with my friends online using Skype, error message appeared to my screen. It displayed ,"The parameter is incorrect". I wonder why I encounter such error, that I don't remember working with some parameters involving to Skype, such a strange error it appears and no suggestions on how resolve the error or what might be the cause.

I decided to solve this issue on my own. At first I closed all applications that runs together with Skype, as I thought it might create some conflict in parameters, but same error encountered, I also try to scan my computer for viruses that might change some parameters, but same error again.

I saw this error once, but I just ignored it since it did not display again.

I got an irritating issue with my Skype application. Recently, it is acting so strange.

The very first encounter on my Skype problem was when I went to lunch. I just locked my laptop with the Skype and other applications as well as Google Chrome, Excel, and Word. In addition, I also have Windows Explorer opened.

When I got back and unlocked the computer, I saw the error that my Skype has stopped working. By the way, I am using a Vista operating system.

I am working on an online job and I am using Internet broadband for my computer desktop. My brother got an online job too. He has a laptop but he does not have Internet connection.

Skype is the one I've been using to make internet calls. It really helps me communicating easier to my clients. Yesterday, I got problems logging in to it. I know I am entering the correct Skype name and password. It didn't give me an error and it just goes back to the login screen not displaying any error.

I tried rebooting my pc to see if that could help but it didn't work. My OS is Windows 7 and working fine with Skype until yesterday. For the meantime I am using a different instant messenger program.

If someone knows a fix, feel free to put your suggestions here.

I have tried to reboot my computer – still no go.

The uninstallation, reboot, installation process won’t work either.

I tried downloading a different version of Skype I am definitely not giving up Skype as I’ve been using this for years and all of my friends are using this.

All of my contacts are also in it.

Please advise what needs to be done.
