I have just installed VLC player in my computer, because my friends told me it's very nice. After I installed VLC, I wanted to try it. When I inserted a DVD, VLC suggested me to play it, so I played it. An error message appeared that the player was unable to open the file, I pasted below the screenshot.

I meet this error when I run the application installer, that uses winzip as its extractor. This is the first time I meet such error.

I first restarted my computer, to get a fresh start, after which I tried again installing the application, but same error message was displayed.

I am a bit confused and mixing the concepts of the fork() system call the parent and the child share the following: • Environment • Open file descriptor table • Signal handling settings • Nice value • Current working directory • Root directory • File mode creation mask (umask) The professor says that the Open file descriptor will be explained later but he did not say anything about the Nice Value and File Mode creation mask. Please explain the Nice Value and File Mode creation mask in the context of fork () system call. Also tell me What is FILE MODE CREATION MASK?

When I was using 7zip to compress some of my files, I tried to change some property association in the 7zip file manager, I meet this error. I pasted the screen shot below for complete reference.

An event was unable to invoke any of the subscribers.

Ever since I am  using 7zip, this is the first time I meet such error. I first restarted my computer, to get a fresh start, after which I tried again to change the file association, but same error message was displayed. I removed 7zip and re installed it again.
