I had a homemade video file taken from a digital camera. It’s a Family outing video about 75 minute length. I want to create a picture files or screenshot of some part of the video.  I would prefer to have it by reviewing back the video and just by clicking, I can have a screenshot or a picture file of what I want from the video. I’m running in a win7 OS.Please help.

I'm Natalie. I just need help in my problem in viewing AVI and MP4 format in my computer. I have some flv, mkv and rmvb video files. Since I can't view them in media player of Win7, I downloaded and installed GOM player which practically solve my problems for viewing those mention movie formats.

Another problem is that ,now I can no longer view my AVI and MP4 video files using Win7 media player. Every time I played those movie format, it will be automatically played on GOM Player. How can I revert back to play in win7 media player, which I prefer for watching AVI and MP4 movie files?

I used Microsoft windows Vista Home Premium edition on my Acer Aspire 5315 laptop. But from couple of last days I have got myself stuck in an issue. More briefly I would like to tell you that it was just out of my curiosity that, I myself went to the manufacturer website of my laptop and then downloaded (its) BIOS update setup and after that I tried to update it. Just on the way, however the laptop got stacked for so much long time that’s why I tried to shut it down by pressing and also hold the power button, but I wasn’t able to do so.  Now my laptop’s screen even cannot be connected or it doesn’t start anymore.

I am trying to install NSIS (Null Soft Scriptable Installer System) on my pc, which is an open source windows based installer system for the distribution of the applications.

Whenever I start the installer, it presents the following error.

NSIS Error

The installer you are trying to use is corrupted or incomplete.

This could be the result of a damaged disk, a failed download or a virus.

You may want to contact the author of this installer to obtain a new copy.

It may be possible to skip this check using the /NCRC command line switch

I am trying to install Avid Studio on my pc but unfortunately it is giving me error and quits every time.

I install the previous trial of avid studio version and everything was working well. Now when new version is out, I want to test it, but now it is not allowing me to install.

Please help me.

My pc is windows XP sp 3 core 2 duo 3 GB ram and 500 GB hard disk.

Hi friends,

I am an architect and I purchased a version of ArchiCAD after a lot of trials at my home.

Now when I tried to install that on my office computer, I was shocked to see the error which states that:

I first astonished to see it, but later I tried to fulfill its requirements. I have the latest quick time player installed but it is still giving me the same problem.

I don’t know how to tackle it as my computer has quick time player 7 installed which is the latest one.

In my country, I don’t have access to the help line facility for ArchiCAD.

Kindly help me.
