Hi,

I setup roaming profiles in my company  to log onto any workstation on the network and work.

And I followed all of the instructions and copied the local profiles to a shared folder on the server.

The problem is that ,when my users log on they get an error message.The error message says, that windows cannot locate the server copy of the roaming profile and is attempting to log on with a local profile.

What can be the cause of this problem and how can i get the users to log onto their roaming profile?

Hi Experts,

After installing Microsoft Server 2008, I started to install Microsoft Exchange Server 2007. However, my installation media was damaged and the installation failed due to the fact that it was not able to copy all installation files. I tried uninstalling Microsoft Exchange 2007 from the Add/Remove programs but was unable to do so.

I have no time to do more chit chat, but I am stuck up with this error of Visual Studio.

It was running fine, but I got a surge power attack to my computer,and after it turned on.

I was getting this error when I started Visual Studio, "No Listener" available.

ORA-12541: TNS:no listener

I have tried to sort this out, but no one helped me out. I know now why this error appears but don’t know how to fix this problem or error.

Can please someone sort out this problem for me. 

Mostly when I start performance test for oracle this error appears in different ways like sometimes license not valid, unable to complete test or installation due to license. 

Sometimes it works, if I restart my Empirix Application, but mostly it doesn’t work. 

A few times. I avoided this error by stopping the session. But yet it doesn’t help me much.

The last action I did was that, I re-installed everything, but again I was suffering with the same error.

I want a perfect solution to this problem.

Can someone please reply to me with a permanent solution to this error?

My sister bought a VAIO laptop at japan, and she brought it in here at Philippines for us to use it.

The OS is Windows 7 (Japanese version).

I bring it to the computer maintenance to convert the laptop to English version. But it doesn't change at all.

Some of the folders are still in Japanese language.

I don't have any idea on how to set it into English language.

The classes of my niece will be start on next week. She needs to use the laptop for her studies.

She can't read Japanese language, and she's not yet familiar with everything in the computer.

Anyone knows how to setup the language?

Our computer is 4 yrs. used, and it's started to hanged up always. When I'm going to opened the computer, it's very too slow in the startup and the icon doesn't show for 1 – 2 hours. I tried to reformat my computer but the problem is, it's asking for a password. My uncle is the last who reformat our computer, I didn't know that he did set a password. I asked him the password but unfortunately he forgot it.

Guys, is there anyway how to reformat our computer? Even we can't remember the password? I really need to use the computer, our class is started last week. Please need some suggestions, thanks.

I am using Virtual Dub for video capturing / re processing for the past some months.

For some videos that are playable on my pc (shows that my pc has the required codecs installed), virtual dub displays the error

Hi guys

I am a graphic designer and working in Photoshop and Maya. 

I stuck with the error that caused my lovely adobe Photoshop cs 3 which is giving me headache for last three hours.

Whenever I click on the icon, the application start screen appears and remains there for some time, then suddenly an error appear telling me that

After that, all the traces of Photoshop application got disappears.

I tried reinstallation as well as removal and installation but nothing works.

Is there somebody who can saves me by telling me how to rectify this error of Photoshop.

I m attaching the snapshot of the error message for you to judge.

The problem is about usage of mat lab 2009a running on windows xp with service pack 2 installed.

When I try to run matlab, it shows the splash screen for some seconds and then shows the following error.

After that, the application automatically closed down. I tried re installing the matlab but all the efforts are in vain. The issue is still there with the new installation.

The same installation with the same cd was working fine on my friend computer who has comparatively lesser powered computer than mine. Mine is Intel core 2 due with 1 gb of ram where as he has simple Pentium iv processor with 1 gb of ram.

Any idea about the problem?

I had installed the expression studio by Microsoft today. The installation was fine and no error occurred. I am now unable to start design application. Rests of them are working fine. Whenever I tried to run design application, the splash screen pops up for few seconds then the following error appears and the program got closed.
