Software Others
Hi,
I am working already and it requires me to be in a call often. Problem is, I am having difficulty hearing the person on the other line mostly due to the poor quality line or noise background which in reality – does not exist. At first I suspected that I was not able to due a tuning wizard. So, the next day, I did a tuning wizard, but still the same thing. I still experience a poor quality call. I replaced my headset, still the same. Thinking it was just the Cisco IP Softphone that I am using, so I reinstalled it. That was the last option I know, but still there is no progress. I hope somebody can help me with this one.
Thanks.

Is there a way that I can monitor user’s computer activity and send it to my email? I suspect that my younger brother is visiting dangerous and inappropriate sites. I’m afraid that it may risk the computer security and vulnerable to threats such as viruses, worms and Malware.
I also want to limit or block the website that he can visit. I want to monitor the user’s activity remotely without being discovered. Can some give me clear instruction on how to do this if possible?

Hello,
There are several division inside my company that I work for and each division has their own IT policy.
And of the division are using Symantec Backup for backup software from desktop and laptop to the server. I was wondering if there are any other backup software that can be reliable and dependable and cheaper of course.
I was planning to buy a new backup server for it and looking to combine with the backup software for the user to backup their files to the server. Should I stick to Symantec Backup or better to use Windows Backup for it ?

I am trying to install Microsoft Office 2000 to my Windows7, but I am having this error 1402.
It appears during the installation and I could not finish installing because of this.
I temporarily disable my antivirus and firewall thinking that it is blocking the installation process, but it’s not. I checked for any Microsoft Updates then manually install it. After restarting my computer for the changes to take effect, I still cannot continue.
I run the Disk Clean Up and clean the temporary files, but I really have no luck.
I am running Windows 7 Ultimate 32-Bit OS with Pentium Dual Core T4200@ 2GHz, 2 GB RAM, Display Adapter: Mobile Intel 4 Series Express Chipset Family.

Every time I left my pc on standby mode, it crashes and needs to be turned on again to continue using it. The first thing I will do after I woke up is to turn it on then check my emails. After checking them all, I will head to the kitchen for breakfast then when I go back to my pc and it’s always off.
It’s very inconvenient always to always turn it on especially when I’m in a hurry.
Here are the specs:
- Acer Aspire
- Intel Pentium Dual Core
- 500 GB HDD
- 2 GB DDR3 Memory
- Windows 7 Starter

There are lots of files that I do not need on my pc.
I decided to do a pc restore to factory defaults after backing up my important files.
Now, I’m getting a message that says “BootMGR is missing Press Ctrl+Alt+Del to Restart” whenever I turn it on.
It seems that I messed up with the settings.
I tried to do a startup repair but it’s asking for the HDD’s disc.
It is a Dell OptiPlex 380 Desktop and has Windows Vista Operating System. I should have not touched it.
Any solution you may have is very much appreciated.
I attached a screenshot for reference.

Please find some time to consider this problem. An hour ago, I was about to send an email using my 3Essentialss hosting account but this error message stopped the process “Error 503: This mail server requires authentication. Please check your mail client settings.” I consulted our IT support group about this issue, but they were not able to find any remedy.
According to them, some of our email clients attempt to send emails to our server without providing some authentication requirements such as password and user names. Is there perception on this issue correct? And so I posted this concern here hoping that you can enlighten me about this problem that I have. Thank you for your help.

I am getting svchost.exe every time I open my computer.
It’s kind of annoying because if I press the ok button, it will give me an error and if I press cancel it will pop up again.
I’m hoping to get some solution first before I format my computer to save time and effort.
