Storage
I recently got a problem with my Mac computer. The hard disk memory keeps on decreasing. The problem started occurring after I copied all the application folders from the Mackintosh hard drive to my Application Folder. A strange thing happened with the memory; it went down from a free 45 GB to a free 16 GB!! My VMware fusion does not run as normal as before. It kept displaying a message indicating that I had to free the memory, which I did by deleting all the files that I copied in the Application Folder. I went ahead and emptied the trash hoping that the memory would be free. To my surprise, the memory still has a 16 GB free remaining.

Hi!
I have a Toshiba satellite. But, recently due to some virus, my whole hard drive got corrupted and now, it won’t start up.
To solve the issue, I contacted Toshiba people on the Internet. After listening to my problem, they recommended that I should do a system restore from the CDs they provided with the laptop. Since I have lost them, I bought some from best buy, but now I don’t know how to run them to recover my files and to make my computer functional again.
Anyone who knows how to use these CDs? Please help me, since best buy didn’t give me much on what to do with them.

My hard disk is making some annoying noises, approximately 30 noise occurrences in one minute. The problem started when a friend came with an external hard disk, 250 GB. He wanted to copy some documents from my computer. I plugged in the drive of my computer in one of the USB ports and transferred the data.

Which is much better? A SATA or an IDE Hard drive? And why?
Yesterday, I went to a computer store to buy a hard drive for my computer. When I was at the store, I forgot to list down the system specifications of my computer. I was standing while waiting for my turn into the information where you will ask the specific product that you're looking for. When it was already my turn, I asked the saleslady what hard drive was the most saleable in their store. And the saleslady said, that the "SATA" hard drive was the one. And then, I suddenly remember the specific hard drive for my computer and that's a "SATA" hard drive.

I have bought a pen drive some days ago. It was working well, better service and high speed. I gave it to one of my friends and after getting it back, I inserted it to the USB port. But the system cannot detect this mini drive. It shows the following message "port is not available for this drive".

Hello!
At the office, we have 2 divisions and one of the divisions had purchased a backup server. I installed a backup software in each laptop/desktop to synchronize with the server so that the software can automatically backup the server without help from the users. This is needed since most users are not exactly following the latest technology updates.
The other divisions were also permitted to backup the server but they need to purchase their own HDD and then the HDD will be added to the same server. The server is Dell PowerVault, if I'm not mistaken. My boss wants me to organize it, so the other divisions can start backing up their files to the server.

Well I have a DVD drive which is capable of writing. Its model is Samsung 16X. DVD drive and Writer. It sometimes does not open when I pressed the eject button or when I command it to eject from the system. And more over, sometimes it can't read the DVD, though I give it almost a new DVD to play. It only makes sounds but does not show anything in the screen. And another thing, sometimes it can read DVD but can't copy the files in the DVD.
I want to know what is the probable cause of these problems. Why does this occur? Is the DVD drive gone? or is it something else?
Is there any way to fix it? Or should I buy a new DVD drive for my PC??
Please explain those problems so I can take a proper decision to replace or fix my DVD drive.
