Storage
I downloaded a file through a P2P network. I am launching those files through WinRar but it throws an error stating that the file cannot be open because it is corrupt. Are there any ways to repair it? It's very frustrating to search and download a file only to find out that it is corrupt, most especially when it is 100MB or more or if it take too much time to download it. Do we have a technology where we can know if a file is corrupt before we download it?

I am currently on a trip now. My problem is, the disk utility is showing 10MB on the main hard drive and the volume group is 56GB. Later, the main drive shows I have 56GB left on my storage and the volume group shows I have 10MB of free space. What is happening here? This occurs on my Mac OS X. How can I fix this?

Hello everyone! I have 16 GB of RAM installed in my PC, and although the task manager and PC recognize that 16 GB is installed it only tells me that 7.9 GB is usable and 8.1 is reserved. What does this actually mean? And why does it show that only some part of my RAM is usable and the rest is reserved? Any ideas?

I am encountering an issue with my Samsung external hard disk. It has 1TB and some of the files are in RAW. It notifies me to reformat it but I just can't do that since I have downloaded several movies and television series. I tried resolving it by downloading a backup tool so I can send my movies and tv series on another external hard disk. Then I used the Tool Get Data back and reformatted the hard disk. But the problem is, my Samsung HD stated that it only have 596GB space. But looking on the Get Data Back, I can see that it still has 932GB that matches to my 1TB HD. How can I resolve this?

Hello! I am not able to download anything on my phone from Google Play Store. It gives an error and says "Insufficient memory in memory card". How is this possible? I only have WhatsApp installed in my phone, no other app. The rest of the things are there by default like Google Maps, Google+, YouTube etc. This shouldn't be happening as the memory card has the storage capacity of 1 GB. What is the reason? Thanks in advance!

Hello! So when someone says that the maximum capacity of a particular computer is lets say 2 GB, what does this statement exactly mean? What if I have a computer whose maximum RAM capacity is 2 GB but I add more RAM in it, will it work properly or not? What is that factor which decides the maximum amount of RAM that can be used in a computer?
