Hello! Random access memory(RAM) as we all know it is in all the computers. My question is how does it communicate with the computer? When does it perform its role? What are its advantages? Are there any disadvantages too? What kind of data is stored in RAM? Are there different types of RAM?

Hello! When we save something in our computer, we know it gets saved in the hard disk on permanent basis. So consider this situation, I am working in MS-Word and when I click on the icon to save my document and when it is saved, what exactly happens in the hard disk and in what manner is the document saved in the hard disk? I mean we all know computer understands only binary(0 and 1) so this procedure must be complicated, right?

I have a SD card on which I keep some important back up for work purposes. For security reasons, I want to put a password to prevent access to the information on the card. Can anyone tell me how to do that for an SD card? Is a password secured SD card safe enough to keep data?

Hello! As we all know that in big organizations and offices, data must be kept at more than one place so in case of data loss, useful data can be retrieved. I want to know what are some of the methods to back up data which includes each time interval after which data undergoes a back up procedure? What kind of storage devices are used to back up data considering the fact that the amount of data is huge? 

I own the Samsung NX2000, which gives be a perfect picture quality. When buying the camera, I had to buy it along with the Kingston 32GB memory card for storage purposes. They were both working perfectly until last week when my camera started freezing whenever I wanted to look at the gallery. I have even tried viewing my memory card using a PC but it cannot be recognized. the card saves pictures but I do not understand why it cannot allow me to view my valuable moments. What could be causing this? How will i go ahead and solve the issue?

Hi guys, I recently bought a WD My Cloud 2TB for streaming and backups. I also have another 750GB external plugged into the back to transfer my files over and they are both mapped in my computer. With all this am still experiencing extremely slow transfer speeds that is from 5-6mb/s. I have tried using the My Cloud desktop app but it keeps on crashing or stopping. Any ideas? 

Hi, I have a 160GB Swingline external HD that connects to a laptop with USB (2x). At times, my laptop does not recognize the drive is plugged in and I resolve the problem by unplugging and plugging it a few times. In disk management, the same thing happened and I would like to know how to fix this. I would also like to know how to remove all partitions to use the entire capacity. Currently about 8.9GB is allocated to a partition that I cannot use.
