The hard drive on my computer failed and Dell sent me a replacement. I need to send the defective one back to them. Now, I have a lot of personal files on the old hard drive and I want to make sure it's completely wiped out when they receive it. How do I do this?

I bought an external HDD from Toshiba to serve as a backup storage of my laptop. I have Windows 7 on the laptop and it doesn't recognize the external hard drive. I can hear the hard drive spinning and the light on it is on, but it is not recognized by the laptop. I tried the other USB ports as well, no go. It's not even under 'Devices and Printers'. Any help would be appreciated.

I have purchased Nokia Lumia 1520 recently. It supports micro SD card of volume up to 64GB. What is the best Micro SD card if I would like to do 1080p video recording and loading the applications fast? I saw that SanDisk 64GB SDXC is a good one. But, I would like to check with the experienced people before buying the same. Anybody have a recommendation? I am fine to spend more money as long as that is worth. Please kindly advise.

I'm thinking of upgrading the hard drive on my laptop and I'm currently looking at a Seagate 2.5" 1tb hybrid drive. They say Solid State Hybrid is best for laptop upgrades, but how I do install it on a laptop? Do I have to replace the HD that's currently on or can I just add it in using an enclosure?

There are a lot of cloud storage services available for free now, but I would like to know which one is the best. I plan to upgrade any of my free plans with dropbox, google drive and oneDrive. Each one offers different features when it comes to their paid plans. Which do you think is by far the best among the three?

My M17x came with a 109GB SSD, which serves as my boot drive. I also have two more HDD for games and programs. The boot drive only has a small amount of space left and I wonder if it can cause my computer to slow down. Are there other things I should look for? I haven't installed much on the SSD that's why I'm surprised why the remaining space left is now only 10GB. Any suggestions please? 

I added two hard drives on a Dell PowerEdge 2800 and setup Raid 5 successfully. I installed Windows Server 2003 and it was able to detect the drives, but it gave an error 'A disk read error has occurred'. Did I miss anything out? What is causing this error and how can I fix it? Thanks.

I have a Lenovo Server for my small business. I added a 3TB hard drive and when I looked at the hard drive space, it only showed less than 1 TB. Do I need to do any partitioning scheme to make it see the actual capacity of the hard drive?
