Storage
Hi there!
My computer is running on Windows XP and just recently, I backed it up for the first time using Microsoft backup installed with the operating system.
The thing is when I restarted my computer, I got an error message saying that the NTLDR is missing, I tried to repair this by using the recovery disk in my computer but when I did, my computer recognizes my external hard drive as the C: drive.
I need to know how I could get my computer to recognize the internal hard drive as the C: drive, rather than the external one.
I already ran the diagnostics on the internal HDD and it seemed to be fine.
I hope you can tell me what’s going on and how I can fix it. Thank you.

Most of the bootable ISOs I have from numerous programs that are intended for different uses are convertible to a flash drive image that is bootable and can boot up with no hassles. What just bugs me a little is that having a separate flash drive or CD individually for each of the program causes hassle. Since the spaces for storage in the flash drives is not enough. The bootable programs are now stored using a 4GB memory stick. Would it be possible for all these programs to be combined into one and for a user to be allowed to boot using a single FD and still can see the different programs ?

I have a new Dell XPS 420 desktop PC. I want to transfer all my 10 years worth of files that include music, pictures and documents to my new Dell PC. The following files are located on my drive D. My question is, if it’s possible to just copy the whole drive rather than copy the files one by one? The drive C that contains the operating system is now useless since my new Dell has a dual drive bay, wherein one bay contains two drives and the other one is an open one. And also, I’m wondering how that drive will appear considering that my new computer is showing two drives?

This is the first time I used this software and there were things I still don’t understand. I am planning to transfer a client in the hosted environment. I have already done the imaging of the client’s server and converting it to a VM. After doing that, it will be demoted and combined to the domain that we have, which has resulted for the Sentry Install to be hosted. I’d like the idea of starting from scratch by doing a clean installation of this software. As a backup and to meet required space, I’m thinking of the data to be transferred to the Storage Area Network. Is there anyone who could provide me a step-by-step process on how to do the aforementioned task? Thank you.

If we are going to compare the performance of Raid level 1 between Raid level 0, which of the two have achieved the best performance in terms of read requests? Please discuss it further, how they differ from each other? Thank you.

I want to save a drawing created in Adobe CS4 Illustrator to a high resolution JPEG image as I want to upload it to a dedicated photography website and have it modified into a large 20×30 print.
I saved it for photo and web device and then tried to upload it to the photography website, but I kept receiving a message that the image is too large and it will be blurry.
Do you have any idea of how can I get rid of this problem?

Hi All,
I was wondering what the best way to handle content is and I am considering either Remote Storage/Network Attached Storage (NAS) or Local Content and Replication.
Can you help me decide on which should I use?
I would also like to know what tools I need to use should I go for Local Content and Replication.
Thank you.

Most of the organizations are using Electronic Data Interchange (EDI)? Why are they using it? I would like to have some principles for lay-outing EDI documents. I also like to know what kind of documents EDI supports. Your suggestions would be appreciated.
