I encountered a problem with regards to Visual Basic. I was working on a macro where I am planning to open a page on a website and create a new workbook. When I tried to run the macro this error message appeared on my screen:

[Sybase][ODBC][SQL Anywhere]Column ‘Reference#’ not found

Every time this error show on my screen, I have to close and restart Excel before I run the macro again.  There are no other open workbooks when I tried to start the macro and I also tried QueryTable. Delete command but it didn't fix the problem. Does anyone have the same problem? I hope someone could help me.

I was asked by the top management for some data on my search at the application we are using. All the required data  is not available on one look. I must hop on every type of reports to arrived on the desired format that will be exported to. So I decided to just import data from Sybase to excel, on my exporting process an error occurred  that I pasted below.

Microsoft Office Excel cannot use the number format you typed.

I was using Sybase for my database maintenance routine, when I meet a program error and points to scjview. exe, and my Sybase exits.

Program Error

scjview.exe has generated errors and will be closed by windows.
You will need to restart the program.
An error log is being created.

I restarted my computer in the hope that it will be ok upon rebooting. When the computer starts again, I tried to use Sybase to continue my task. After an hour of using my computer, the error message appeared again and again. Sybase exits.

I was on field to have some preventive maintenance on the computers, when one of the computer users approached me and showed me an error message,

Since I am not familiar with the error, what I did is to advice him to restart the computer, and reboot it again to have a fresh start.

I let him try again the same process, where he got the error, and the same error was displayed, I checked for some virus using the installed anti virus, and no virus was found.

I have been using power builder 6.5 from 3 years and now I have to change some codes because there is a company that comes in and writes an application. It is not that hard to change the code, but I was just wondering that whenever I go to the word compile, I get the following message:
