I'm thinking of making an image file of my whole system. and I was wondering if it would take up most of my disk space to store the image.. The utmost concern here is if my PC becomes corrupt  or is damaged, is the image file reliable enough to restore all my files and programs? Is creating an image file as your system backup a good idea? Can anyone give some suggestions?

One of the drives in my system was bitlocker encrypted and I formatted the disc using disk management tool after which I am receiving a blue screen error. I have tried to recover all the partitions using Active@ partition recovery but it is unable to recover the drive that is encrypted. How can I recover the drive?

I am looking for some clarifications regarding the compression of old files which is a selection in the disk clean up of Windows XP and Windows 2000.  If I am doing the compression regularly, will that create any problem with the system files in the future? Is the ‘compress drive to save space’ option in the disk properties and the above specified compression the same or not? If this option is used for compression, will it make any problem in the future? Please help me to get out this problem. Thanks in advance.

 I am seeking help for the ‘Disk Cleanup Tool’. It does display one identity in the network in the start menu. The identity should have access to the Control Panel. I don’t have any idea which is the best way to set that option from the start menu. I also thought about the registry fix to the current user, but the profile has no access to registry. I am looking for an easy method to do it. If anybody can help, please do.

Hi. I want to upgrade my Fix-it 10 to Fix-it 11. When I tried to install version 11, I was opt to uninstall the previous version before continuing. But since my Fix-it 10 is already corrupted and the same reason why I want to upgrade it to version 11, I cannot continue with the installation. It keeps demanding for the correct file. Is there a way to force the file and install version 11 without needing the previous version? Is there something that I can edit with the registry to do this? Please send me some help.

I have a defined list. It should be allowed to type starting letters and filter the list by that letter typed, just like the Combo box in Visual Basic. Now I have to scroll the all data and it is very difficult as the list is very long.

I would like to know what FSMO roles are and what would happen if one role has failed. Automatically, who are assigned as FSMO? Would there be a difference in transferring and seizing an FSMO role? Please explain what role should we avoid seizing and why.

When I tried to start up my Dell laptop, I am receiving an error message caused by installation of the new hardware/software. When troubleshooting windows in Safe mode, it keeps saying that the System32DRIVERSisapnp.sys is corrupted/ missing. Also, I do not have the installation CD to try reinstalling Windows. How can I resolve the issue? Please help. 

Hey, does anyone has an idea why I am currently experiencing problems with one of the DCS in my environment which is failing to get a new RID pool from the master since it has exhausted its pool? On doing both replication and RID manager test nothing out of the norm turned up but on invalidating the RID pool it turned out that it had already been invalidated. My attempts of coming up with a user object to have the RID pool request from RID master were not successful either.

I never had an issue with any Adobe products since the first time I used it. But lately, when starting my computer, I keep getting an alert from Adobe Reader asking for an update.

I clicked the alert and start the process and installed new updates. But it always stops during the process of updating it. It shows “Update Failed” with error code 1402.

I tried for several times but always end up with the same error window. I uninstalled and re-installed the software again and again, but I am unlucky to fix the problem.

How can I continue with the update and fix this problem?
