System Utilities
Hi everyone,
Am using a friend’s laptop just to get online and look for some help. My laptop, Sony VAIO P6100 has a real error problem. The OS is Windows 7. The problem is that i can’t run any program or use my browser to get online. Generally on every program i run i am getting a “chrome.exe- system error”. The message is that; “the program can’t start because LPK.dll is missing from your computer try reinstalling the program to fix the problem.”
lpk.dll missing is a pain

Hello everyone!
I have a serious problem here please help me find the problem.
I was installing WINDOWS XP yesterday. I properly boot the boot priority device and successfully loaded the Windows on the desktop. When I install the drivers, the screen prompted me "error" and when I check in the device manager I found this "Intel (R) High Definition Audio HDMI (?)"
What does this mean? Is it the audio driver not compatible with the Windows XP? I really don't get the point of this. I have already searched for the solution thru online but I didn't see possible solutions.

I work as a volunteer technician, in a small company. My boss told me to clean the computer system because as he checked it, he noticed that parts of the system unit, has a lot of cob webs and needs to be cleaned, to avoid system damage.
What I did was, I disassembled the system unit; I pulled out all the parts of it and cleaned it. After I cleaned it; I assembled all the system unit parts and connected the cables it in their proper connections.
As I start the computer, when I reached the prompted screen of Windows XP, it suddenly shut down. I turned it on again and still it shuts down the computer. Even the power supply shuts down. I checked it again, but I didn’t notice any parts or damaged wire.

My cousin passed me this Dell INSPIRON 6000 laptop. But I think it needs to be reformatted. That's why I did. But then I installed win 7, not all of the features were working. No WIFI (The adapter is the Intel Pro/wireless 2200 bg), audio (sigmatel audio driver), and Bluetooth connection and etc. I did this, because I knew that win 7 has its own drivers.
But now I knew I was wrong. win 7 is not complete pack for all the previous drivers of computer features.
