Only in Vista and Win7 am I getting the error -5001 : 0x80070002 in the following scenario:

1. Product installation.
2. Product uninstallation.
3. Windows log-off for system.
4. With the same user account to log-in to windows —à.

During login to Windows install Shield Error pops up.(Attachment has the screen shot).

After searching the internet, I know now that it maybe is because of a lost installation file but I can’t find out which one.

Windows update has been applied, and I also tried ISClear tool. I also tried to remove UAC (User Account Control) but without results.

Copy files to a backup folder using XcopyFile, an error code (0x80070003 – The file specified is not found by the system).  With the following characters in their filename, I get the error messages occurring. Would appreciated any help. Hotfix for Windows 2000 install and Install Shield 2012 are what we are using.

The following Software error is appearing when I try to scan using the Solution Center. 1 page at a time, however I can scan using the device utility. I have more than enough pc resources on my Windows 7 64 bits system. To scan several pages at a time is what I really need to be able to use the software. Help is needed please. I have un-installed & re-installed a dozen times or so and also called HP support. No result so far. Even use the scrubber tool and no results.

While using the free version of screen recorder software to capture my desktop screen, an error message appears which show “wave in error”. “The specified device handle is invalid in stop()’. The image proof for that wave in error is shown below. Please check the system settings recording the camera connected to the system or to update the software are recommendation to solve the error message.

The software install up until 100% and then a message saying “Error 1935 ..”(see attached). The Official DSA Theory Test for Drivers of Large Vehicles is the software I am trying to install.

How to resolve it or any ideas what this might be. Nothing has worked up until now even restarting the computer.

Adobe Acrobat Standard (version 9.4.6) is the software I have.  This error message appears “Acrobat could ….2003 document” when I start the form wizard, locate the document to convert and click next. Can anyone, someone help me please. A bad batch of software is what I think I have. Any recommendations? Who to call for a replacement if that the case here?  Software is this.
