Ubuntu Linux
Hello,
I was trying to install IPCop on an AMD Duron 1.3 ghz, 192 MB SDRAM, 3 GB hard drive but I can’t pass the initial CDROM load to install the software. This error displays:
Inode cache hash table entries: 16384 (order: 5, 131072 bytes)
Kernel panic: cannot create inode slab cache
In idle task – not syncing
I looked for the kernel panic error but failed to get anything.
Help needed urgently.
Thanks a lot

On Ubuntu 11.04 64 bit, I am currently installing Lotus Notes 8.5.2 (deb package) on it. What I noticed is that Lotus does not complete the installation. I searched the web for a possible solution and found a guide on IBM Forum but it refers to a different release which is 10.04 and I found another on http://usablesoftware.wordpress.com/, I still wasn’t able to continue with the installation after installing all the required dependencies (all getlibs, ia32lib, ecc, etc.)
I experimented with installing different Ubuntu releases and here is the summary:

Hello,
I got this error message below:
“CC1: warnings being treated as errors xc_remus.c: In function ‘xc_remus_create_context’: xc_remus.c:402: error: implicit declaration of function ‘posix_memalign’ make[3]: * [xc_remus.o] Erreur 1 make[2]: * [build] Erreur 2 make[1]: * [libxc-x86_32/libxenctrl.a] Erreur 2 make: * [install-stubdom] Erreur 2. ”
I get this every time I do something with Stubdom.
It does not allow me to perform the “MAKE STUBDOM” command. Anyone got the same issue?
Please send me an advice.
Thanks.

Good day everyone,
I am an absolute newbie when it comes to using Kubuntu, so I'd really appreciate it if anyone could help me with this installation problem that I've been experiencing.
I have been using Ubuntu for a long time now, and I figured that I should check out what Kubuntu has to offer, too.
Thus, I decided to install Kubuntu on my Windows 7 machine, but upon rebooting my computer, the screen froze.
So, I had to switch it off, restart all over again, and key in Kubuntu, but what I saw instead was a screen full of dots.
Since this is the first time that I've seen something like that, I decided to uninstall Kubuntu, but I cannot find any uninstall option in the Control Panel.

It's been a very distressing week since I always had this error when opening an .ods (OpenDocument Spreadsheet) file and .odt (OpenDocument Text Document) file.
The error just pops up when starting my computer. The error says "Loader Error. The procedure entry point HTTP Query Info A could not be located in the dynamic link library WININET.dll." I have done some troubleshooting such as running SFC and scanning my whole system with antivirus. I also tried to re-install IE8 and OpenOffice 3.3. What should be my next step in solving this issue? Can someone please help? Thank you.

Hi experts,
I was trying to set up my computer for video output. My operating system is Ubuntu and I don’t know how to configure it. Meanwhile the error pop-up and informed, “Error opening/ initializing the selected video_out (-vo) device.” I want a solution to outline video out on my computer. I would be grateful. The image of the error message is given below:

I was working with RF Cascade Workbook 2005 with my Ubuntu: Intrepid lbex. I opened the GNOME Gnumeric spreadsheet with drag and drops. I got an error when I open it. When I hit the Close button on the bottom part of the error message, GNOME Gnumeric seems to fix the issue. But I want to know if the error may cause something serious in the future. +
Please send me some ideas.
Thanks.
