I successfully installed VirtualBox 4.0.8 R71778 on my Ubuntu 10.4 64-bit PC. My problem is I could not find any appropriate driver for my network card and audio that can meet my virtual windows. How and where can I find all the drivers needed? I am using Dell Inspiron 1464. I hope someone can help me because I really need it.

I can’t really understand why my mirc719.exe could not start as compared to my friend laptops that can response easily.

I was unable to proceed to play the videos downloaded in my laptop Toshiba L500. This is ridiculous why is it can’t play this video even I have software VLC media player that computer shop attendant installed it. I’m freeze with this media plug-ins, do I have to cancel this dialogue box appear in my screen because I’m afraid that this might ruin the other programs. Hello Everybody,

I was having Windows XP to be a dual boot with Feisty fawn. As a new user I’m getting error with my Feisty when tried to perform Add/Remove application. I’d follow some basic guide on updating and installing then I tried to input it into the terminal.

I do run first sudo apt-get update and followed by sudo apt-get install –f but no good output. I don’t have an idea of changing source list. Below is the error message.

Hello Experts,

I switched my Maverick to Natty to learn some of it features and gain additional knowledge with it.

I tried to apply some of my configuration on a new system with 3 monitors. In Monitor 2 an error appears after creating a new panel and adding applets to it. Applied to Monitor 3 same error faced.

What could be the cause these were it is functional in Maverick?

Any ideas are greatly appreciated. Thanks!

After I do some improvement on KDE 4.6 to Alien Bob's KDE 4.7 packages in Keisty fawn and re-configure KMail version 1.9.6 setting then tried launched KMail but it fails to start receiving an error message. Is there other information to configure my KMail to start properly? Please give some ideas to prevent this kind of error. Thanks in advance!

After doing some upgrade of my old openoffice.org to openoffice.org2 in my Ubuntu 7.04 and restart the gnome-panel I get error message. I’ve reinstalled openoffice.org2-common & openoffice.org2-gnome, but the problem continues.

Well, someone advise me that can I use the photoshopCS2 directly in Ubuntu 9.04. I’d used a standard version of wine and tried install PhotoShop CS2. When I launched the executable file in wine it blocked the PhotoShop and state that it is not marked as executable. Did I forget something in executing photoshop? I need help…please! Thanks…

I am new to Linux and I want to install Ubuntu 11.10 but I have read some feedbacks that Ubuntu cannot run Skype installation which is supposedly should have worked with the other older versions like 11.04, etc. When Ubuntu updated into a newer version, I have tried to download it on my Windows 7 Ultimate PC and installed it. I am sure that I’ve got all the necessary drivers and Skype as well. I launched the Skype but it didn’t start. 

I found out that I can use Skype only if I open it through the Terminal. In the meanwhile of starting it, as it opened and I began to use it, the person I’m talking to was kind of distorted and scratchy. Some of my callers said that my voice was unclear too.
