I uninstalled a software that I don’t need and accidentally uninstalled a software I don’t know. After that the window screen showed large icons and fonts. Did I did something wrong with this laptop? What could be the software that I just uninstalled is it for the monitor or video card? How can resolve this issue? Do I need to download anything to make it work again properly? How can I avoid this from happening again? Please give me instructions on how to upgrade this laptop in the future?

I recently installed a winzip software in this new laptop. I was able to use everything and all ok. When I tried to launch a game it showed “missing direct x9…” Did I do something wrong? Please tell me what are the things I did wrong and provide instructions for each how to resolve or correct my mistakes? Is it because of the software that I just installed? Hi people, I currently have an old computer a Dell XPS 410 and am not looking to spend $3000 on a gaming computer. I am currently looking for a good graphics card to run games like; American Truck Simulator, Xplane 10 and Assetto Corsa. My computer specs are windows 8.1 Intel Core 2 Duo E6600, 2400.0 MHz driver size is 640GB with 4GB RAM. I would appreciate anyone with knowledge on this matter to help me out, thank you in advance.

My PC was working and everything fine in the first PCI slot I used. I took out the graphics card while the PC was off and when I put it back on, nothing came up on the monitor. I plugged it into a different PCI slot and it worked fine again until it showed a blue screen, I reinstalled windows and now the screen shows black when turned on. I want to reset the bios to factory value but am not sure if the hardware will work, need some advise.
