I have purchased an AVG four months ago. It was working properly without any problem. But recently when I opened an application, the AVG Resident Shield gives me a message in a popup window ‘because of the invalid file structure, it is not able to scan’. But, applications that I have opened are not newly installed. I have no idea what is going on. I have doubt that AVG is having some problem.  Otherwise there may be another problem. Please guide me to fix this problem. Thanks in advance.

I updated my AVG 10.0.1390 recently.

I started having problems like not being able to access it at all because all the components were disabled.

I tried a system restore so I can access the program.

The “Identity Protection” and “Resident Shield” were both disabled leaving me unable to scan my PC for viruses.

I cannot also run the AVG Watchdog and shows an error message “Error 5: Access Denied” even if I am the Administrator.

What can I do to solve this?

Hello! I have AVG 2011 installed in my PC. The problem is that it won’t update no matter what I do. Both anti-virus and anti-spyware are not out of date. I tried to solve this by downloading AVG 2012 but whenever I try to update, it gets stuck in “Analyzing the Updates” stage. I cannot uninstall the whole thing because I am worried my PC will be left unprotected if I cannot be able to reinstall it.

Any help out there?

I have ESET Nod32 installed on two of my computers. It works fine with updating and all. The problem is that I only have 15 days left in my trial version. How can I continue with my subscription and activate my antivirus?

Good day! I have installed ESET Nod32 5.0 on my PC recently. I started having problems with booting my computer after that. When I restarted my computer after installation, Windows doesn’t load up. It only shows a black page where I can move the cursor around but without any icons on the desktop. I am in the middle of rushing my work-related requirements and I urgently need your help.

Hello there. I have Kaspersky Internet Security 2011 installed in my PC. I upgraded from Parallels 5.0 to Parallels 6.0. I am running it on a 90-day Trial Licence with 13 days left. However, I cannot purchase a new license because whenever I click the “Purchase License” button, nothing happens. I tried to reinstall but nothing happens.

I tried to contact Kaspersky about it and they advised me to contact Parallels.

I installed Kaspersky Internet Security 2011 yesterday on my Lenovo PC. After doing so, I started having problems with the internet.

Internet pages are imaged incorrectly and sometimes do not download at all. Can anybody help me figure out what to do? Thanks a lot!

I recently installed Bitdefender Total Security 2012, with MalwareBytes already installed in my PC. I started having problems with my game, which worked perfectly before installing Bitdefender. It loads everything but Xtrap stops with HWGC.exe.

The game doesn’t launch after that. I tried to resolve this by closing and reinstalling Bitdefender but I still encounter the same problem.

Can anybody figure out what’s wrong, please? I need help on what should I do.

I had the virus called “XP Anti spyware 2010” on my laptop which runs Windows XP. I solved the problem with the Norton Internet Security 2010, but something strange is happening since then: when I want to open the Internet by directly clicking the icon, there is a window opening which asks me to choose a program in order to access the internet. I select Internet Explorer but without any success, as the program does not work. This happens whenever I want to use the internet.

Then, I realized this problem occurs for other programs on my laptop, too, with the following error message:

“Application Not Found”

I have Kaspersky Internet Security 2011 installed on my Windows Vista PC for few months now.

It was working well and very efficient to use.

But since the 2012 version is already out, I decided to upgrade into it.

But when I was trying to install the 2012 version, I keep getting an error:

Error 1402. Could not open key: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESOFTWAREMicrosoftWindowsNTCurrentVersionWinlogonNotifyklogon. Verify that you have sufficient access to that key, or contact your support personnel.

I called some support from Kaspersky but their solution to put a script didn’t help me resolve the issue.
