My computer is slow after installing an Antivirus. How can I solve the problem?

I have a computer and I did install many anti virus programs, but the sad part is they will not protect my computer as promised. What anti-virus software will I use that will destroys the virus and their tracks? And why is it important to have a spyware and anti-virus at the same time? Please provide me the best answer to this questions.

I want to ask if is there an antivirus for my phone. 

I have LG OPTIMUS 3D P920.

I recently using WiFi lately for internet browsing and downloading. I already downloaded a lot of files into my cellphone. 

So, I really need to have antivirus because these files are so important to me. So, while my cellphone is not invaded with virus yet.  

I have been using anti virus software since I started using PC. Some can really detects virus or malicious files. How do you create an anti virus software? What programming language should I need to learn? And how do you know that a file or an application is a virus?

I used Microsoft security essentials. It was serving good. But for some days I am facing problems. It can't delete virus named 'Recycler'. I want it removed from my PC. Which anti-virus software is best suited for this. Give me a suggestion please.

I have been using McAfee Antivirus for my Windows 7 in my laptop for a year now and I haven’t experienced any slowness until this week. I do update my antivirus when needed and regularly do system scanning and have not found anything suspicious. However, these past few days my laptop runs normally fast at first and after few minutes it just freezes and my internet browser stops responding.

Do I need to change my antivirus software? I heard about Kaspersky being one of the best, will it be better to switch to it?

I was installing McAfee Endpoint Protection software when I got this error message, please see below.  I have searched the web and haven’t found any solution.  A friend told me about this forum where I could find some solutions.  I hope someone will give me advice on how to fix my problem.
